Wow, wow, wow. This is an incredible dining experience for special occasions. Amazing location with a great view of the coastline and Diamond Head. Great outdoor patio area for eating or to take pictures. This is a fine dining location with a very upscale atmosphere. Wait staff did a great job at making us feel welcomed and made sure our anniversary was well celebrated. The food was delicious! We had scallops, mushroom risotto, and the catch of the day. The mushroom risotto had amazing flavor and the seafood was cooked and plated to perfection! Highly recommend this amazing place!

We decided to have dinner here with a friend and were pleased. We were seated on the patio overlooking Diamond Head 😍 Amazing view, and at the end we also saw fireworks! We ordered the chef's testing menu for 2 people, the first 2 dishes were very tiny, but so beautiful and delicious, the third dish of fish and ribs with various vegetables pleased us with its size and taste. And the dessert is also delicious and beautiful. The service was top notch, our waiters were very attentive! Overall, we really liked it here!

Service could not have been nicer from the valet, hostess, servers, and managers. The tasting menu was great. The larger main courses were just enough to leave full. Nice mix of fish, venison, pasta, and vegetables. Highly recommend the patio seating for Friday night fireworks.

We went to 53 By The Sea to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We had a table by the window at the patio, so we had a great view on Diamond Head and the ocean. It was gorgeous at night time.
I had the Granchio Pasta and my boyfriend ordered the pork chops. The food was delicious. The service was excellent. They brought us a slice of cake as a gesture for our anniversary. It was an excellent evening.

My husband and I celebrated our first anniversary here. The food, the ambiance, the service and well as the music were all spectacular!!
For appetizers we had - Maine sea scallops, broccoli sir fry. For entrees- bolognese pasta, granchio pasta.

We had our eye on this place for quite some time. It was our one year wedding anniversary so we thought this was the best time to pamper ourselves. They had a preselect menu but my partner has an affinity for paring items on the menu with the available wines. The four course meal was more than enough. Every pairing we had was simply divine. The service was great, our waiter had amazing suggestion while we were building our experience. We chose sunset time for our dinner experience and the color changes did not disappoint. It's one of those experiences I wish I could have weekly.

My husband and I celebrated our 14 year anniversary here. The breathtaking view is only surpassed by the excellent food and warm service. We both ordered the tasting menu - the staff and the kitchen were sensitive to my allergies and created masterpieces even given my alternatives. They made our night incredibly special and truly memorable. 5 stars, HIGHLY recommend, would go back again and bring a friend.

Beautiful place with an amazing view, attentive staff, delicious food, and tasty drinks!! They were very accommodating when we called to add two more people to our reservation. We would definitely come back again!!

The staff took the extra time to answer all of our questions. When uncertain of whiskey to try, was offered a small selection tasting. Offered to take pictures for us. Made the bottle of wine label into a momento for my friends birthday, and provided free dessert with beautiful calligraphied personalized message. Amazing experience.

53 By The Sea is a cut above restaurant!!! The wine list is exceptional. The food is as well.
You will also enjoy amazing views.
There is valet parking and it is complimentary.
You will need to make reservations on Resy. There is a little bit of a dress code - more of a dressy casual place. It is located in Kakaako. Enjoy!

We want here for our wedding dinner and absolutely stunning. We love the service. They pulled my chair out for me and put my napkin in my lap. Definitely top tier. They gave me a free drink because we had just gotten married 30 minutes before and they definitely informed us about the location and origination of all of our alcohol. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding night. I did the crab stuffed lobster and my partner did the tasting menu with the premium wine pairing. We ordered some castelli's to go and I have never been so happy in my entire life.

Perfect special occasion restaurant. I was over the moon during my time here. The tables on the patio are overlooking the ocean and it’s beautiful for the sunset. Our servers were attentive and they all seem to work in pairs. The next table was offered the special while we weren’t but it didn’t sound good anyway. The bathrooms were clean. If it’s your anniversary or birthday they will provide a slice of cake on the house. The prices are that of a fine dining restaurant. I didn’t enjoy the fresh catch but the Granchio Pasta is a dish that I would want to find at every restaurant I went to. It was delicious and the scallops it contained are bigger and better than the scallops appetizer. I am forever thankful to Anjela and Karen who were our servers for the night.

This place is consistently always on it. From the service, drinks, ambience and food you will not be disappointed. Complimentary valet is available. You have great views of Waikiki, Ala Moana and boat harbor.

Absolutely gorgeous brunch spot. The food was elevated (but not pretentious) and filling (but didn't make you bloated). I thoroughly enjoyed the ube cocktail and breakfast sandwich. The spicy ketchup (which we were told is made in-house) was incredible. Top it off with gorgeous views and great service - this place is a hit when you're on your Hawaiian vacation or just having a special moment.

Absolutely fantastic! Superb service and the portions were nice. A bonus was the lights being dimmed to enjoy the Friday night fireworks 🎆

If you’re in the market for a fine dining experience with a beautiful view, look no further! 53 by the sea is by far the best dining experience me and my significant other have ever had. Not only is the food delicious, but the service is by far top notch! Not to mention the view that goes with it; it is breathtakingly beautiful! We have been here 3 times already (brunch twice, dinner once) and we will definitely be back. You don’t want to miss this spot on your Hawaii vacation.

Love this venue for brunch. The menu is not overwhelming and has a good selection. The view of the water is refreshing. The service is also superb. I’ve been here twice for brunch and both times we received consistently awesome service.

I heard this resto is also amazing for dinner especially during sunset and dusk. I can’t wait to eat here for dinner.

I went here for my husband’s birthday and our honeymoon. It was a fantastic experience from the start. The people really made the difference, but the food and the view were also fantastic. They surprised us with a birthday cake at the end. Would definitely recommend.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! The scallops were amazing! Cooked just right. I had the taro and lobster dish and I savored every bite. The truffle fries are just as amazing as I remember. I had more of an amazing time this time and I even did last time. The location is super cool too. We had a great view at sunset. I'm glad we came here!

Luxurious fine dining restaurant with seaside Vista and gorgeous view of honolulu. Right by Kewalo harbor entrance and you can watch boats transiting the channel. Great view of the Aloha Friday fireworks too if you dine in on a Friday evening. Staff are extremely courteous and friendly. Great fine dining experience.
