Palama Supermarket

Ate Spicy Pork Plate at the Palama Supermarket for $10 tax included. It was cheap & lots & good. They definitely deserve a 5 star as this was the cheapeats.

My favorite goto Korean Market in Honolulu. Has everything I want usually. Their raw crab is stellar! Great selection of Banchan. You will not be disappointed if you are a foodie.

This is my go-to for a quick Korean meal. They have pre-made Grab and Go dishes in the store and you can order from the kitchen that is attached to the store for some hot, made to oder dishes. There is also crispy and delicious Von's Chicken. Pro tip, call and place an order for Von's Chicken or place an order and do your shopping so that your chicken will be ready to pick up when you show up.

Everything that you need for your Korean cooking is here. It is pretty clean, and organized, and the staff are friendly. They never run out of kimchee here ;) 😉

Great little Korean market. It feels exactly like a neighborhood market in Seoul. There is also a lil' food court with tasty grindz. Check out there weekly ad and they usually have at least one good deal on produce, pork, and fish. Also, $5 gimbap near the register; just grab one, you never know when you'll need it.

I enjoy going to this supermarket to pick up Kimchi, Korean grocery items, meat, snacks, frozen food from Korea etc.

Today we enjoyed Korean bento box - BBQ chicken and Bulgogi somen noodle. Very reasonable, yet very tasty.

There’s food court, Korean food, waffle cafe, sushi take out, chicken wings inside of the supermarket.

Pretty happy with their deli section. Many local Korean residents go there to shop, too.

This store has every Korean ingredient needed to make any Korean dish. It even sells packages of Korean dishes that can be made at home by mixing everything together. Soba, beans, sauces, veggies, meats, etc., can all be found here. There’s even a little restaurant off to the side. Upon entering, there’s a standing temperature check machine to scan all customers. Perfect way to stay safe during this Covid era.

Stopped by Von's Chicken (they're super good), and grabbed a few extras while at Palama Supermarket. If you've ever been to Korea, after from Korea or simply like Korean cuisine, this is the place to go.

I swore I was back in Deagu with the choices here. Definitely a must-visit if you love Korean cuisine.

My favorite place to get all my ingredients for Korean cooking. Variety of brands to choose from and well stocked. I also love the variety of meats, banchan, and already cooked bentos that they have available.

More Korean style market. Bimbap already made. Fish market in the back and food stands on the side. Worth the look.

Wife and I always eat and shop at Palama Market Makaloa when we are visiting Hawaii and family. They have the best Korean foods and snacks on Oahu at reasonable prices.

Situated on Kalakaua and Makaloa. It is a convenient and easy location. The market has everything needed to enjoy cooked Korean food or to buy raw ingredients to make your own. The layout is good. The market is clean. The staff is friendly. The prepared food is great.

If you want anything to make Korean dishes. This is the perfect spot for you. We came by to grab some groceries since it was the closest Asian market close to our hotel and we left happy. I wouldn’t come here expecting to find Vietnamese, Cambodian, Chinese or other Asian countries items though. But overall, come in with a mindset of grabbing stuff for Korean dishes and you will be happy.

Plus I buy u kay jung from side shops

Stop by to get some veggie and bean sprouts. There are a lot of different kinds of kim chee for you to select.

They got everything for Asian cooking. I’m very happy I found you on my trip.

I like Palama Supermarket alot. There is a small food area that serves Korean food that is one of the few counters that is inexpensive. There is a chicken place a sushi counter and a crepe counter as well.
The grocery side has so many different varieties of Asian food. Its so good. Come check it out.

Looks like a pretty good supermarket. Went in here to sell some crypto. Over all great experience. Will be back A++++

First time shopping here. Trying to make all my favorite korean food since a lot of restaurants are still closed. There's a watch/key kiosk outside I didn't know about. Which was convenient because I needed my watch battery changed. Super cheap too. The man behind the counter was nice. Parking lot is small, but there were stalls and a helpful attendant directing traffic when needed. The store was easy to navigate and all of the staff are helpful and nice. The cashier was genuinely cheerful and told me about how this store was such a big part of her childhood it made her want to work there. I will definitely be coming back more often.

This place has everything you need to cook Asian food. The little food court area is great and cheap for a lot of food. The beef bulgogi is fantastic and the sushi is on point.
