This is a pretty standard Mitsuwa market. I had dinner at an izakaya inside. It was really good. They had all the non-standard meats. I have always been a fan of offal so I am biased here.
I had chicken hearts, beef, beef tongue, and chicken liver. Each of the items cost about $4. There's a three item minimum.
Yeah putting sheets of paper and pens for you to mark your order. I handed my order to the gentleman at the register. The order was up in about 10 minutes. You can see your order cooking from the side.
They serve alcohol here. I got a drink from the market.
My order was spiced and cooked perfect. Really good stuff. They included spicy mustard that was really spicy and radish (I think). Presentation was great.
There is a seating area right there that was constantly bussed. The area was clean and brightly lit. It made for a pleasant dinner.

Excellent place. You have a variety of foods, mini food court, etc. Wagyu alert for those who love the premium beef! They even have stationary and pens!!

I always live visiting Mitsuwa in Los Angeles. It's a reliable place to get decent Japanese food. This was no different. The ramen was spicy, the noodles were tasty. The karaage was crunchy and crispy- piping hot too because they made it fresh for me.

They have lots of gashapon machines with various anime figures. They do but take cash, only tokens. The tokens are 10 for $20, and most machines take 3-5 tokens.

Saw this in the international marketplace mall on the way to an ice cream shop. Its a decently sized Japanese market. There is a nice variety of grab and go foods you can pick up. Theres hot meals and cold meals. Things like onigiri, misubi, fried fish, sushi, poke bowls, and more. Theres also a small food court of like 3 little shops like a ramen shop. Theres also spices, treats, and drinks. They have a small beauty section as well. It was really cool in there definitely a good place to go to get your japanese goods.

My husband used this store when he was in Japan and he can find all the authentic Japanese groceries and products. I love the snacks selection but the bento box and sushi were the highlight of the store. The prices are reasonable for the area and for the product’s quality.

The store may not be very large, but it offers a wide variety of food options, including poke, sushi, and other Japanese cuisine. There is also a food court with a few different options, such as Uni and Ramen. We tried the Ramen and found it to be quite tasty. 😊 🍜

The store is fine, but I want to review the tan tan ramen shop inside. Man, just get a bowl, sit by the big windows, watch the world go by and the clouds roll down the mountains. Delicious, comforting; sends you to another world.

Great selection of Japanese snacks, ingredients, and seafood. There’s a poke spot, another restaurant and a ready to eat sushi section. Clean location on the 2nd floor of the mall. Everything was fresh and the fish here is really good. I’d recommend going early as sometimes things sell out pretty quickly

Located on the second floor of the International Market Place in Waikiki. This place is about 35K sq. ft. including a small Japanese grocery store with a small liquor and beer selection. Inside, there is a food court inside with ramen, tempura & beef place plus tables to eat, so that was a bit of a surprise. Very convenient and familiarized with tourists from Japan or East Asia. Price is pretty reasonable, nothing outrageous or from what I can tell. Highly recommended for something unexpected and worth a short stroll to check it out.

A whole variety of food and beverages and snacks to choose from. They range from instant ramen, sushi roll. Beers. Inside the store has a mini food hall with complementary use of a microwave and a drinking fountain. Mini claw machine. A restroom for men only since the womens room is under repair.

Great grocery story for Japanese items and mochi! Small eating area for enjoying prepared foods. Good spot to stock on snacks before going to the beach.

Buggah Ono. 4.5 oz Wagyu was on point. Even better with the Garlic Flakes.

Locals: They now offer a tempura table as well as new Shichimi fried chicken bentos ... I found the furikake fried chicken bento too salty, though. Don’t forget to ask for kamaaina rate - you’ll need your state ID or drivers license.

Visitors: In addition to sushi bento and spam musubi, it’s a great place to find Japanese snacks and cosmetics. There’s a large dining area in the back, where you’ll find a mochi donut shop and ramen restaurant.

Great place to get your Japanese groceries and products. Selection of sushi and other ready made plates. Pineapple was $8!!, should be a lot less since pineapples grow on this island.
