Halekulani Bakery

In my opinion this is a gem for those who loves bakery goods.

Food: It's definitely not one of those places where it's just sweet filled with sugar. The breads here have real texture that's satisfying. I have tried their almond croissant, chocolate cake, and flat white. I must say it's on top of my ranking list (not just my experience in waikiki), the espresso drink is very good too.

Location: It's convenient but hiding in a small street. Everywhere in waikiki is convenient, and this place isn't far from anywhere, easily walking distance for all ages.

Service: Well, it's a bakery shop, I'm not sure what else they can offer in term of service. In-store seating available, their chair is very comfortable and cute (my preference), outside seating available too but you're not looking at much because it's not oceanfront or crowded street.

In conclusion, I highly recommend tourists visit this place at least once, and I'm sure you'll find yourself here again the day of your flight. lol.

Their hours are wed-sun 6:30AM-11:30AM at the time I was there, so be sure to get there early enough.

Amazing bakery with a great variety of breakfast options, mostly sweet but there are also a couple of savoury options. There are pastries, breads and other unique Hawaiian foods for purchase. Great ambience and decor and the pastries taste amazing. It's not too dear either.

They seem to call a great variety of things croissants, for example, the salted caramel croissant seems to have a crusty biscuity top. ( maybe there is a croissant underneath).

I can highly recommend the Valrrhona croissant. The pastry is perfectly flaky without being dry. It has a slight yeasty or doughnutty flavour which I loved. There is a good amount of chocolate in the centre, about 50% cocoa. Just perfect.

The coffee is PIPING 🔥 hot! I loved the taste, it's just regular Hawaiian coffee.

Saw this bakery on instagram when planning our trip to Waikiki. Lucky for us we were staying a block away at the outrigger reef hotel! We went to Halekulani Bakery every day of our stay and even brought a bag of goodies home! The salted caramel chocolate croissant was my personal favorite. However, there was nothing that I didn’t like! The guava danish, chocolate macadamia croissant, and cream pan were all outstanding! Do yourself a favor and get to this gem!

I love love love this bakery! Their croissant is not any less in quality comparing to a bakery in Paris. I also love their herbed stirred egg(the name might be wrong) with Japanese milk bread toast. I would not recommend the sandwich though.

I marvel to consider that when I first walked in, I saw the prices and thought them expensive. I was so wrong. Considering the fact I think I just ate the best French pastry in my life, the price was a bargain. It will be impossible for me not to come here every time I’m in HNL for work. Every time. Put this place on your must visit list, and I don’t over use that recommendation.

Where do I start? My favorite bakery 😋. Highly recommended!

The everything croissant, salted Carmel and chocolate 🍫 Croissant, pineapple 🍍 Danish, bacon 🥓 cheddar scone ,Mango and blueberry muffin and Mango 🥭 kougin Amman was amazing! I couldn't stop eating these. I had my son help me split it. I'm so full but definitely worth every bite! Best bakery on island 🏝

Discovered this amazing bakery our third day in Hawaii. We were staying at the Royal Hawaiian which also has a good bakery. But Halekulani has a much wider variety, more offerings and the staff are super helpful and friendly. A big shout out to Yukkio for all her help!

Cute bakery! I hit it twice during my stay. Great European-like selection of pastries and excellent coffees. I really enjoyed the Shirried Egg dish and Hazelnut Chocolate Eclair.

One of our favorite bakeries in all of Hawaii. The baked goods are delicious and are priced fairly for the quality. There is always a line, but it moves very quickly as the staff working there is very organized and efficient.

Got there ten minutes before opening and was second in line. Croissants are excellent as is the coffee

The bread here was great, good service with the staff they even sliced and warmed the three cheese bread loaf for me.

Coffee was average, but I am partial to Starbucks.

Would definitely return here when visiting Hawaii next time.

We had a lilikoi chocolate cake with American coffee. They must have a very good Patissier as the flavor, texture and combinations of ingredients were very complex but top notch Parisienne pastry.

There were so many more bread, cakes and pastries to try. The service was very good as you can expect at Halekulani hotel.

Fantastic bakery. Loved the danish and the breads. The smells of the store will drag you in.
The shop closes at 11am. Would be great if it opened later.
Prices are on the high side but then again, the location is super convenient.

If this bakery was located on the main strip, there’d be a line wrapped around the block. Something for everyone and everything I’ve tried is delicious. Favorites are the Cheese Bread and the Pabana Croissant.

The breads are great, worth every single calorie. I can’t say which one is the best, but the salted caramel is something else! :)

We looked at the pictures and we thought was good.. instead it was delicious. We had to go to compliment the pastry chef. She was the nicest person. Perfect flakes, reinterpretation of classical pastries sometimes melted with Hawaiian flavors (the mango-banana croissant was wow). We are now coming back every day! So bad it is open only Thursday to Sunday

Wonderful bakery but what a pitty that it is closed Monday and Tuesday!

What a wonderful bakery. We came here every day of our stay and loved everything we tried. Some of the best pastries I've ever had. I highly recommend coming here for breakfast daily!
