Fantastic selection of fasteners! WAY better than bigger stores like Home Depot or Lowes. The amount of options in hex bolts is incredible.

Great, friendly service. Called in about a mower that we had been driving all over to find and the gentleman on the phone made sure that they had it in stock before having us drive up. Shout out to the owners and staff of the Ace Hardware Cottonwood store! I love that this little gem is so conveniently located, that parking is easy, and that the staff is smart and always willing to help. I purchased a new Blackstone griddle for my husband for fathers' day. Assembly was included, but I was so anxious to get it home for that day that they offered to come to my house to assemble it! What a terrific experience it was - from beginning to end. They even hauled the empty box away! Thank you George, Skyler an all at Ace Cottonwood!

They helped me mix some paint. Though they had some trouble with their machines, they were very professional. They made sure I had a coupon both times I came in. Really great customer service. I’m an interior designer and will keep buying paint from them and would recommend them to anyone else.

I always try to support local business. Sad the Ace in Holladay closed, the "Cowboy" who worked there was the greatest. Now I go to this one and the guys are friendly, helpful and prices are good. Such a better experience than suffering chaos at Home Depot.

Hardware store from my childhood. Way better than the big box store. Surprisingly the do beer at actually having what I am looking for and the staff knows the store.

I love how close this is to my home. It's easy to shop and they typically have everything the big box stores do. Smaller store means smaller selection but if you just need a quick fix it part then Ace is a much better choice! The staff is always super helpful and happy to assist without me having to go out of my way to find them!!

Great to have this store in Cottonwood Heights. They have a great selection and it is much easier to get in and out of if you don't need something only HD or Lowes carries. Huge selection of fasteners, which is usually my draw. Great customer service both times I've been in.

I was helped by Ethan. He was very helpful and made the experience great even though I had originally bought the wrong thing due to my own negligence. Definitely a good place if you need some help doing it right.

I love this Ace, I have probably spent 100 hour in their faseners section. They have every bolt you need in grade 8, any thread size and length, and all the nuts and washers for them. This has been an invaluable place in the process of me rebuilding my '78 International Scout II. They have a WAY better selection of bolts and faseners than any of the Big Box hardware stores.

The Ace also has a full line of Craftsman tools and sockets. If they are out, or you are needing something a little odd, they will order them for you.

In addition the staff is super friendly and helpful.

Stopped by for some nuts and washers. It was a million times better than Home Depot. Everything was clearly labeled and if that wasn't enough the employees were super helpful and helped me find what I was looking for. Fantastic

Went in here to get some super glue or some kind of strong glue to re-attach a rubber suction cup to a hard plastic housing, for my car's dashcam recorder. My wife had pulled it too hard and it came off. I've had it for two years in my black car. It's never separated in the summer or the winter. So the glue that it came with is really strong. I tried Gorilla glue, which came apart after two days. I then tried another glue that sets fast, but that one failed after one day. I even tried a PVC pipe cementing paste. That one lasted one day as well.

When I went into this new Ace store, I was greeted right away and asked if I needed help, just like the other location in the center of Holladay. The employees are extremely helpful, concerned and very knowledgeable. The cashier directed me to an older gentleman who worked there and knew a good amount of information on the types of glue and which one to use. I went all out this time with his help, buying a plastic bonding epoxy glue. Only $7 and it is working fantastic. No better way to give it a good test than the hottest day of the year, 100+ degrees. I've even adjusted the camera a few times and it's holding strong. That employee (wish I got his name) also helped me to the birdseed aisle to look at their selection. I'll definitely be coming back here to buy more home improvement merchandise.

You don't get help like this at other stores.

Ace is convenient! Easy to park, easy to find what you're looking for. Staff is helpful and pretty well trained. If you hate wandering around the giant home stores then Ace is the place for you.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The store is small relative to the large chains, but they have the majority of what you will ever need and a more personal setting.
