Royal Hawaiian Bakery

Visited this location while on a stroll around Waikiki in Jan 2024.
Great service from the team members here, as they explained a bit of what went into each pastry.
Ended up grabbing two of the Royal Hawaiian Custard Croissants and while they're pricey (~6.50 each), 100% worth the price. Great amount of custard, jam, and buttery layers of crust.
This would probably be one of those spots I'd go to weekly if I lived in the area.
Otherwise, will definitely visit again when we're in the area.

Stopped here for coffee and a pastry after playing on the sands of Waikiki.

Great spot for a delicious quick breakfast. Croissant was perfect! The ambiance of the Royal Hawaiian is wonderful.

Delicious ensaymadas and ham/cheese croissants - those two are my favorites. The ensaymada is topped with butter and sugar - it’s basic, soft and large but absolutely and DELECTABLE. The Portuguese sausage bun is excellent as well (it is topped with cheese). The strawberry custard croissant is generously filled with jam and custard. These have got to be the best pastries I’ve had on the island.

The bakery doesn’t have the largest pastry selection but the pastries I’ve tried were done exceptionally well. Long line for a popular bakery that’s well worth it! I personally prefer the ham and cheese croissant here to Halekulani Bakery’s. I would recommend trying both bakeries if you’re visiting Oahu to get some variety.

I’m surprised this isn’t rated higher. The food is awesome, affordable for the area, service was quick and friendly, super happy overall. And the Royal Hawaiian is so fun to walk around. Highly suggest!

Have been coming to the Royal Hawaiian for years love the bakery and customer service they are there early every morning ready for the guests and best of all Mr Lawerence is a welcoming presence to greet the customers when bringing in all the goodies and looks forward to visiting the bakery every time I am in Hawaii Thankfully Shirley

The snow flakes are the best ever. Great spot to sit and enjoy a coffee and snow flake cake. Pink pan cake mix is a great little take home purchase also.

Basic bakery with cold and hot drinks along with some pastries and muffins. Limited selections but got the job done for a light, quick breakfast.

The place deserved 5 stars in my opinion! The service was stunning (thanks again to the Japanese lady working there, she was so lovely!), the coffee was great and the pastries were delicious. Really enjoyed having my breakfast here!

Cute bakery with a handful of souvenirs of take home (i.e., pink pancake mix). I tried the latte, ensaymada, custard croissant and guava cake. They were all good and I found the quality and texture to be comparable to some of the better pastries I’ve had in Japan. My absolutely fave was the ensaymada… I’m Filipino and this was my childhood snack, I was so happy to see them serve this and was shocked at how delicious it turned out to be!

They have amazing brioche and croissants there! Also cheaper than many other places less well located. We loved coming here for breakfast, so relaxing and delicious!

Stopped by for a latte and croissant. Delicious! Excellent service. Open to all, not just for those staying at the resort.

Had our coffee and pastry there every am. Staff ladies charming. Wonderful to sit by the garden and have coffee.

The banana bread/muffins are a must have. Get a coffee and enjoy the lanai. An oasis in the middle of Waikiki

A beautiful historic hotel with fabulous amenities. Located steps from the beach it is an oasis in the middle of Waikiki.

Worth the prices. The raspberry croissants and the pain au Chocolat were delicious

They don't accept cash only credit or debit cards.

Great place to get a good cup of coffee and pastry. Friendly staff
