From the reviews I might suggest choosing a different reputable barber if you get a bad cut. The barbers seem to know of each other within the local network. I've had good ones who I'll try to mention on a survey.

I went to, “Clippy Clips”, as my sister says! I got as good as a cut as I could. Both sides trimmed! It looks as good as it could! Thank you Great Clips!

I had a wonderful experience here with Michele this past Saturday on March 31,2023. I frequent a lot of south city locations and have not always received the best customer service. Michele was warm and pleasant. She was very attentive to my needs and what I wanted my hair to look like. She was nice and engaged in conversation with me and also was quiet and gave me some quiet time. Very genuine and passionate about her job. I appreciate good people like this and now I’m just going to frequent this location because I love the respect and appreciation I received here at this location. All the staff greeted me with a warm and friendly smile and the energy in the salon was pleasant. You guys need to know this location rocks!!

So I went in and was very nervous because in the past I have had problems with stylist cutting my hair the way they felt it should be instead of what I wanted and I knew it was a complicated cut. So my nerves were a wreck but this 1 stylist who I now know is Erica had the brightest personality and just immediately made me feel better so I requested to wait for her and I am so glad I did!!! I have very thick hair and a lot of it and I wanted very short choppy layers to give me that emo or scene girl hair. As I said I have tried to get this type of cut before but the other stylists would never even come close. But Erica nailed it with no hesitation! It turned out way better than I hoped for plus her bright bubbly friendly personality just made me feel not only comfortable but I felt heard she didn't ignore what I wanted and put her own two cents in of what she felt was better for my hair or anything like that she gave me exactly what I wanted and it turned out great I hope you plan to be there for a while or if you go anywhere I must know because I'm never letting anybody else touch my hair again lol. Thank so much Erica I couldn't be more satisfied... If I could give you 10 stars I would!! The first two are the amazing haircut she did while the third is my hair before the cut

I usually get my hair cut at barber shops but being relatively new to St Louis and in dire need of a cut, I thought I'd try Great Clips. I utilized the app to get on the list which was a great convenience. I timed my arrival so that I was helped a few minutes after I arrived. I highly recommend taking advantage of this time saver. The stylist was friendly and efficient. I knew exactly what I wanted and she was able to do a short razor cut on the sides and back of my head and blend it with a scissor cut on top. I left the shop happy and it still looks good more than a week later

Perfectly nice place! Elexis and Jeremy have both taken care of me when I've been here, they do good work. I'm sure everyone else does good work too!

Great. I haven't allowed anyone for over 3 years to touch my hair because of the last 3 people I've allowed to do it decided to cut it off. Since I was in middle school my mom would drop me off at a beauty shop and since I was a kid the person doing my hair knew better than me and would cut my hair (my hair is really thick and long). This cutting went until my senior year of high school and after researching, the people cutting my hair every other week was unnecessary. I recently wanted a trim just so my hair could look more neat but not take away from the noticeable length down my back (more than halfway down). From past experience I was extremely bothered to do so. A friend recommended great clips in Clayton because she faced the same experience. I went ahead and did it. I had the pleasure of meeting Demetria who was super nice and understanding of my situation. She asked how much I want cut (1/2 inch) and showed me on my hair how much it would be then what she recommended (1 1/2). I went with her and she didn't fail me. She gained my trust especially since she told me about a situation she had that was similar to mine. I recommend Demetria to anyone who wants someone who's willing to listen to your requests even if she doesn't recommend or agree with it. Also I was a walk in but i only had a 1 minute wait and a trim of about 5 minutes. I will continue to do my own hair but she will be giving me a trim every 2 months.

I had a very pleasant time at this location. Jennifer is the stylist I saw and she was absolutely amazing! I had to get my daughter's hair trimmed from some heat damage she suffered and she took great care of us, the staff is nice, the environment is pleasant and clean and I'll definitely be returning on 2 mos for a follow-up

I signed up on line and only had a five minute wait. Lex did a great job.

Paula and Michele were very quick and skilled. We're both happy with their friendly and professional services. Our cuts turned out great. Not that long of a wait and we'll definitely return.

Paula was my stylist and she was great! I paid $18 (before tip) and got a great haircut. She was sweet and attentive and I was in and out quickly. :)

Today was the best waitress ever. Glad to see the value menu is still available. Food was just as we ordered it. Great value. This was a review for Dennys in Crestwood. Sorry guys.

I wasn't sure if they would be able to cut my hair because the texture of Asian hairs is different from black's and white's and etc. I was amazed that they were able to cut mine very well (find Dorothy with red hair). Also, she takes notes of what each of her customer wants and she keeps updating them. Seriously, the best customer service ever. They are great. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Bring a photo, it helps stylists figure out what haircut you want.

Great cut, good conversation, great experience

10/10 experience. Elexis did an amazing job with my “I’m growing my hair out so don’t cut too much off but please fix this mess” (potentially difficult customer profile) indecisive self. She knew exactly what I wanted and was able to execute it flawlessly. On top of that, the rest of the staff was cheerful, professional, and seemed to have good chemistry with one another as well as customers. Thanks Elexis 💁‍♀
