Eagle Lake Family Diner

Stopped here for a small lunch on the way through. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and the prices were reasonable. Would recommend.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch while traveling home. We opted for the buffet, as it looked very good, and was hot and ready. The fried chicken was delicious! I had green beans and Lima beans for my sides. They were both perfectly seasoned and cooked. The cornbread was also superb. My husband said his slaw was good. We will definitely put Eagle Lake Family Diner on our future stop list. Our server was Brittany, and she was friendly and efficient:-)

Eat here once in awhile. Met my husband gee today for lunch since he was on break.
Food was delicious atmosphere great sever was kinda rude but lately that's been everywhere I go. They do need to understand it doesn't matter what kind of day they have had this is how they make their money and when there rude then I leave no tip. I waited tables for over 20 years and if I wanted to pay my bills I treated every table the same no matter what. Will I come back yes I will hopefully next time her attitude will be different.

This place was great. I was doing a job and the area stopped in for lunch was quite impressed. It had a see through smorgasboard type display where some smiling. Ladies dished out the food you wanted. I ate outside as the inside was pretty full but the food was great. I'm a light eater but I cleaned my plate of everythif you're in the Eagle Lake area. This is a good stop for some good home cooked food.

Love coming to this diner. The ladies are so attentive and sweet. The service is fast and efficient. I could never complain. This is why my husband and I keep coming back, week after week.

This place was amazing. Service was great with very friendly staff. Breakfast was great and the service was also great. Food tasted great and was plenty. They were setting up lunch as they have a buffet lunch that sounded great with different food items each day. Can't wait to go back and try the lunch.

Great local breakfast, lunch restaurant with sit down menu and daily buffet menu. Your choice. RIGHT on Hwy 17 with easy access. Great staff, service and food! Be sure to check it out.

Food and service are fantastic. You can't go wrong with these little diners, and this one is a gem. You can go thru the cafeteria style line or order from the menu. All food is fresh and portions are perfect size.

This is the best little diner I’ve found. I have driven all the way from the University of South Florida area in north Tampa just to eat at Ellie’s place. I love the cafeteria line, where you get meat, three sides, biscuit or roll and your drink. You have to try Mike’s famous grilled pork chops or his fried chicken. My favorite sides are mashed potatoes with country gravy, lima beans, pole beans, country green beans
or while rice with gravy. Breakfast meals are great, too. Better get there by 1:30 pm because they start closing down the grill as it gets close to 2 pm. You get free refills on soft drinks and tea with the buffet-style cafeteria line. Tip the waitresses and staff well because they do a great job! I’m not related to anyone there. I’m just a foodie who loves to eat.
