Peak Physical Therapy and Sports Performance- Pembroke

My experience at Peak Physical Therapy in Pembroke was excellent! To start with I made a phone call and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly. She booked me an appointment for the same week according to my convenience and it was great receiving text message reminders. My PT, Dan MacDonald, was amazing! Thanks to his carrying attention, knowledge, professionalism, kindness, and great recommendations, I was able to feel better and move forward. He was very attentive listening, patient, and knowledgeable. I was very impressed with his massage skills that helped me with pain and discomfort in my neck areas immediately. Dan was very attentions and cautious setting up individualized exercises to help me improve symptoms of vertigo and following up with tests to check for improvements and performing reevaluation and recommendations. Thank you very much Dan and also Thomas that was a great assistant and all of the team at Peak Physical Therapy in Pembroke.

Ben was my physical therapist and I can happily give him 5 stars for his excellent care. His explanations of the possible causes of my back pain along with a very easy to succeed at home plan partnered with a lot of varied exercises every session allowed my body the chance to get stronger and heal. The entire staff from the receptionists scheduling and answering phones to all the support staff were professional and personable. I’ll be returning to Peak PT in Pembroke whenever I have a need from now on. Thanks Ben! Great job explaining the reasons behind the exercise plan and not just giving me things to do. It makes a huge difference!

The care and attention at this office is excellent! We wouldn’t go anywhere else! Our daughter Ellie Grace, 11 year old competitive gymnast, required physical therapy after an injury. Knowing the high demand and toll competitive sports has on the body we were very particular on who to trust with her recovery and researched local options. Peak Pembroke has left us with no regrets! The quality and experience of the therapists, especially with youth athletes, has been instrumental in her recovery. Her excellent team consists of Dan, Sam and Thomas but seeing the other therapists at work in the office the experience and professionalism is apparent. Her team formulated her recovery plan and adjusted it to meet her bodies needs as her recovery changed. They’ve helped not only heal the injury but also have taught her injury prevention which will be invaluable in the future. Hopefully she’ll have no further injuries but if she does……we’ll be back here, no questions asked! Thanks for your hard work Peak Pembroke!

This peak location is great,from the staff when first walking in, who go above and beyond
" squeezing" you in last minute with a smile to ALL the therapists with a special shout out to BEN ....he is amazing..going far and above most places I've been to. Many PT places these days leave you laying there alone doing your exercises then heat or cold or both ..then bike or treadmill then bye bye....Ben is hands on and always makes sure everything is good before you leave.

I have used Peak twice, each time after a knee surgery. Alicia Covell is fantastic. Alicia has improved my knees range of motion, strength, and stability both times and has had me back able to compete ahead of schedule after each surgery. She is professional, talented, and is an outstanding and positive presence. I highly recommend Alicia, Thomas, and all the staff at the Pembroke Peak location.

Sam and everyone at Peak PT Pembroke is so kind and friendly. I suffered a concussion and have been going to Sam for four months. He really knows his stuff and is very diligent asking questions and making sure I understand what’s going on and what my treatment plan is. He takes your pain seriously and wants to help you get better. I am very grateful for him and all of the staff there!

The entire staff is so pleasant and professional. My physical therapist. Alicia, is excellent. Excellent bedside manner. explained all exercises thoroughly, and most importantly I got better.

Peak Physical Therapy is a professional office. From the front desk to the therapists everyone was pleasant and professional. My therapist Ben was excellent. He understood my injury and tailored a therapy program for me specifically. He understood that I do work out regularly and designed exercises to challenge me. I would highly recommend Peak Physical Therapy.

Peak Physical Therapy in Pembroke is absolutely top notch! I had a less than happy experience at another PT place and was not expecting much, but I needed to recover from a torn Achilles. Dan McDonald and the staff were very talented, experienced and professional. They were friendly and helpful and always kept everything positive. They were flexible about scheduling and were very accommodating. I can’t say enough good things about Dan and the staff. I made a great recovery and it is thanks to Dan and the staff. I had a knee replacement and I had Curt for physical therapy for my right knee. He was excellent. Always explained everything very thoroughly. I had severe pain and he helped me so much. Thomas would help him sometimes with a few exercises. He was also excellent.
I’d recommend them to everyone.

I had knee surgery, I had to have PT which I have never had. Right from the girls at the front office and Sam coming out front to get me they all made me feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend Peak Therapy in Pembroke. Now a year later, had other knee done, requested Sam who was great the previous year however he was over seeing Ben who is in training and will graduate soon. Sam asked if it was ok that Ben worked with me and I was fine with that. Ben was great and very patient with me and Sam was always there if I had any questions. Hope my surgeries are done for now but would always recommend Peak Therapy.

I can't thank Peak Physical Therapy enough for helping me get back on my two feet (quite literally) after I broke my leg/ankle and required surgery. The entire process of registering for physical therapy, having the necessary records sent to Peak, and billing my insurance was seamless. Appointments were extremely easy to schedule and reschedule as needed.

However, all the credit goes to Curt for giving me the confidence and skills to get back on my feet over the four months I was there. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable -- we went through a variety of exercises that increased my range of motion and muscle strength in my leg/ankle. Additionally, I appreciated how he was very realistic in explaining how physical therapy would work for my type of injury. Simply put, I had an injury that required a lot of time to heal and the onus was on me to keep moving, stretching, and completing my exercises at home. We set realistic goals and when it was time to be discharged from physical therapy, I had the physical strength to get back to my day to day activities, and most importantly, I had the confidence!
