Great service group. They stay busy though they make every effort to accommodate and communicate through the process of diagnostic and repairs.

Tyler is fantastic and has treated my entire family with respect. He leads with integrity which makes it easy to trust the process and feel confident that the work being performed is accomplished with competence.

Absolutely love David and Nicole and the rest of the staff! I always get prompt service and am treated with respect and they're even nice enough to shuttle me to and from work! The people that do the detailing are exceptional. My car is always so squeaky clean!

Laura In service is by far the best Advisor I have used since I have had my Kia. I have delt with many, but Laura is by far my go to Adviser!! She always makes sure ever need is met and she goes above and beyond!! If you go to Services ask for Laura ❤❤

Had a previous bad experience to which I voiced my concerns about and the service department ended up fixing and covering cost to fix it due to it being their mistake . The supervisor I’m not sure of his name but he is great to work with, but, Bradley I think his name is still has an attitude problem and didn’t want to fix it until supervisor was involved.

It took around a month just to be able to drop my car off.. then when I get there they claim to be short handed and unsure if they would be able to do the repair within a week so I asked about a rental car. They said they have no rental cars and told me they would only cover the cost of a rental if my car was still under warranty, well that's fine but they took a week to let me know that my car was still in warranty... Then I called back for details about the rental car process.. the guy on the phone acted like he didn't want to talk about it and was incredibly rude and unprofessional but wait it gets worse... When I called about the status of my vehicle the guy on the phones response was "iv had cars in here alot longer than yours bud!" Rude and unprofessional is the only way you can describe the staff in the service department.. with that being said I do however like the sales people they are friendly and helpful but I honestly don't know if I'll ever be doing business with kia in the future. Currently my car has been there well over the amount of time they said it would be and I still haven't heard anything about the rental car reimbursement.

Filled out form for appointment but never received a call. Called them today and was told I can’t take my car but could setup appointment day which wouldn’t be for a couple of weeks. Even then said it would be another 1-2 weeks just for it to be diagnosed.

Service department is awful..3 hours for oil change and tire rotation...and they said they couldn't rotate the tires because of swollen lug nuts,but I could have it done somewhere else. If that's the case why can't they do it then I'd someone else can.. its always something with this service department and because of that as much as I love my kia...I want buy another car here no time soon if ever.

I purchased my car from Kia of Cartersville, and came in to get the first service on my vehicle. I scheduled an appointment (which took several phone calls and appointment requests because they would either not return the phone call or the four different numbers listed made it impossible to reach anyone) and luckily scheduled it on a day I did not have work so that I could make the one hour drive over. It was Wednesday December 29th at 11:30 am. I checked in and was told to pull my car into the garage, and once I did I was immediately questioned "who told you to pull this up here?" (Is there no communication from advisors to service techs?) and once it was sorted, I turned in my keys. It wasn't until I turned my keys in that I was told my oil change/maintenance would take an hour and a half. If you're looking for a quick oil change, do NOT schedule it here. An hour and a half and $80 dollars later, I drive home and look at my maintenance sticker. It marked my next maintenance for 500 miles later. Probably an error, so I looked beyond. Start my car later in the day, and the service reminder was not removed from my system. I attempted to disable it from the car and from my app, but the service technicians have to do this. Why did this not happen with my $80 service and the hour and a half time that my car was in the shop? The next day, my tire begins losing air. Just one tire. I had not driven over a pothole, hit any objects, etc., I really hadn't gone anywhere considering it was the holidays. I have since then had to refill my tire with air FOUR times since leaving the appointment and it is happening faster due to the recent colder weather. I had only had service done one week prior.
Later, when attempting to get in contact with the Service desk, I called 3 times and left a voicemail. (I was later informed that their internet was down and that's how their phones operate, but this was not the first time I encountered a tough time trying to reach them). I later sent a message on their website asking for someone to call me back stating that I was upset and attached my grievances. Someone from Cartersville called me back, and I explained the situation again, and I was told that the service advisor KYLE would call me back once he was done with a customer. He never called me back that evening (again, not sure what's going on with the lack of communication here) and by 12:00 pm the next day I still hadn't heard anything. I called back and was on the phone for a total of 17 minutes, and I was on hold for about 13 of them (I also heard them pick up the phone and put me on hold again. As a former service associate, I was always told that was a big NO for customer service). I repeated my issues several times (repeated them twice to the service advisor Kyle) and I was told that I would need to 'drop by when I'm in the area' for a quick fix of the maintenance sticker. Completely ignored my tire issue, completely ignored the distance, the grievances I had with the service not being fulfilled in the first place, and more. I informed them that the service I received was less than satisfactory, and I was told "I'm sorry you feel that way." Again, I know this is service language for "I don't give a #&*! what you think." So thank you Kyle Baker for finally answering my phone call and giving me no solution and solidifying that I will not be returning to Matthews Kia of Cartersville. As this was my first new car that I saved money to purchase, I am thoroughly disappointed in the service, lack of customer response, and customer service received.
I immediately called Carriage Kia of Woodstock, they answered immediately, were cooperative with my needs, and laughed when I told them I had issues with Cartersville (sounds like this has happened before). So I could not recommend this service area less, nor Kyle and his customer "service"
