I worked from 8 am till 6 pm, I got $65.4 a day or $6.54 an hour. The reason it was legal was because it was a contract job. Moving furniture to schools and not getting paid enough. The owner has a fake smile, the owner bought everyone food one time then fired me the next day. This place is relying on school students on their summer break to fill the roles to fill schools up with furniture.
Workers have to do the following, move furniture, drive a box truck (without D.O.T. Card), remove furniture off of semi trucks, place and/or move furniture around in a small warehouse that can barely fit anything, have the boss get mad because you're in pain moving too much at one time while they were in their office in the AC which 9/10% workers won't have.
