The Baking Grounds Bakery Cafe

I had a nice time here for breakfast, it’s a really cute bakery. The cakes look beautiful and the tiramisu is really good. Breakfast was good, but I loved their mocha latte.

This was a recommendation from many people. I wanted some beautiful and delicious baked goods for a baby shower. The petit fours were the best ever as well as the decorated cookies. It was well worth the drive.

The Baking Grounds is such a cute bakery/restaurant/gift shop. The cakes, the cookies, the goodies, oh my! Delicious! We went for lunch, and the chicken salad on sourdough bread was really good. Also, I took some cute cookies home.

First time visiting this restaurant. We had wanted to grab a breakfast out after running a few errands, but arrived too late by a few minutes. Expecting to be a little let down... but boy was I wrong! My wife ordered the rueben and I had the hamburger. It has been a while since I've had a burger this good. It was prepared exactly how I requested. The staff was very attentive, and prompt. After paying, we went over to the bakery side for some take-away sweets. Again, very tasty. We will be back for breakfast soon! Highly recommend!

They did phenomenal! I walked into my appointment wanting a cake with a crazy difficult 3d floral look made with icing. I have to say I was a little skeptical but they did absolutely amazing. The only downside was when I booked my appointment to come in, they told me they’d still be able to make me a large cake, and when I came in they said they actually couldn’t. I walked away with a smaller cake and 120 cupcakes. Despite that little bump they helped me adjust my vision and everything went so perfectly!!

I had an extra little bit of time here and be a virgin referred to come here to the baking grounds. What a great referral that turned out to be. Wonderful staff very attentive. Clean place everyone cares about your food your service. Service is phenomenal only better advise the food. I have the half sandwich half soup. All of Rosemary bread was fresh and very tasteful the turkey with wild rice soup is fantastic and I opted for it broccoli salad inside potato chips. It's all up at all Cookie it comes with it super. Next time in Beaufort I'll definitely make time to come back.

What a great little local spot.

We had traditional breakfast foods and everything was good. The pancakes are phenomenal, crazy fluffy. The hashbrowns were probably a little over done for my personal taste.

We had Mig for a server and he is the reason for this review. He was excellent, well above par. Kind, great with our kids and just a warm personality.

We will definitely come back and ask for him specifically.

The service is almost faster than what you can get at a breakfast drive through. Think about that breakfast or lunch, just as fast but you get to be civilized and enjoy yourself with great food. No brainer! Go, take some friends. Get some goodies from the bakery, HUGE selection!

Great breakfast place. My business partner and I just picked this place out of the blue. Now the surprise was after we ate breakfast which was really good. We were walking out and discovered this sinfully wicked good bakery with everything you shouldn't eat but have to eat. I think I got one of each. Just kidding. Yet I did get more than I should have of delicious sweets, cookies, pastries, and more. You have to try this. You won't be disappointed PROMISE 🤙🏽

Really a great place. Good and cheap breakfast, not the largest variety though. Service was quick and accurate. The house potatoes were especially good with their seasoning and appear to be lightly fried. Biscuits and gravy were good. While they aren't #1 I've ever had, would still order again next time.

Huge variety of baked snacks and desserts. The cookie I tried was of the harder "milk dipping" kind rather than soft and gooey. Tasty though.

Unfortunately they do not cater to allergy or dietary restrictions well.

Would definitely come back here.

This place is fantastic! They have the best treats. I love their homemade bread and the chicken salad is amazing! I am always happy leaving here.

I walked into this place for the first time last week, and it was the most wonderful smell in the world! I had no idea they had such a wide variety of desserts. I tried three different items, and all of them were like heaven, I will go back!! Shout out to the nice employees!!

Just an all around wonderful experience! Delicious food, all breads and pastries done right here. I ordered a ham and cheese omelette with hash browns and it was made to perfection. The hash browns were crispy and not greasy like at so many other places. The eggs tasted fresh and the ham was sweet and plentiful. My partner ordered the French toast cinnamon roll. It was also made to perfection. The place was packed on a Saturday morning at 10:00 am. An inconspicuous little strip mall in amongst business warehouses, this place has been made with love and art to detail. Lovely and great food. A must try this n Buford, GA!!!

This place is awesome! If I could give it 6 Stars I would! It has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the employees are kind and helpful, and the selection of baked goods is heavenly! I know I'm using a lot of exclamation points, but it is that good! I'm so glad I stumbled on this place today for coffee and dessert, the hardest part was deciding what to order. I also liked that I didn't feel pressured or rushed; I had a book to read while I inhaled my sweet treat and I made sure to bring some home to the family.

WOW!! Don't let the outside fool you!! This place is PACKED with all sorts of treats! I came in to pick up some pastries for co-workers birthday. If I did not have a mission I would have stayed there for so long. What an incredible assortment they have! Tons of holiday treats to pick from! They also have prepackaged and reduced items available in front of the counter. They had several employees working, so even though they had several customers I did not have to wait. Thank you for the deliciousness!!

My friend and I stopped by for some coffee and breakfast. She got the log cabin and I got the cheesy scrambled eggs with hashbrowns and jalapeno cheddar toast. Everything was so delicious, probably the best breakfast I have had out in a lot time. Definitely the best breakfast in the area. I must say the hashbrowns were even better than waffle house and that says alot. My friend had the biscuit and gravy and ate all 4 biscuits! lol. Our waiter was extremely personable and sweet. I hate that I didn't catch his name but we will definitely be back.

Thank you so much for this beautiful wedding cake. I ordered the cake as a gift for my sister and you guys exceeded my expectations. The cake looked beautiful and tasted great. The cake was so moist and the icing was not too sweet. I will absolutely order another cake in the future. I was so nervous about not having it delivered, but they did an amazing job stabilizing it so it would not move during transport. If you order a cake from The Baking Grounds, you will not be disappointed!! Their prices are also so reasonable.

We visited Tha Baking Grounds for breakfast today. They're only open for breakfast and lunch but they serve both most or the day.

The food is delicious and priced right. You'll be tempted by their baked goods during checkout. Cakes and cupcakes and donuts and popcorn and cakes and yumminess will surround you.

If you're looking for dinner I recommend starting early and stopping by The Baking Grounds. You will leave satisfied.
