Peking House Restaurant

Really a sweet little surprise. We stopped in for a quick lunch on our way to KC. Peking House is conveniently located just off of US 65 and Sunshine. The restaurant and bathrooms are impeccably clean and nicely decorated. The staff were very friendly and happy to answer any questions you may have about the area. We had the Springfield style cashew chicken and general chicken lunch combos. I will be back.

The place was clean, food was delicious, and every employee I had an interaction with was just as nice as possible!

It was delicious in 1984, and it is still yummy in 2023!

I have dined at Peking House for years. Great food and prices and a cozy and clean atmosphere make this an enjoyable date spot. The owner is very nice and the staff a professional and polite. Thank you for years of wonderful service!

This is the CLEANEST Chinese restaurant I’ve been to. The food is always amazing and fresh. The staff are very friendly and my dog Chewie loves the dog treats he gets. Everyone we recommend to come and eat here has always told us they loved it too.

This spot might look like a hole in the wall when you drive by, but let me tell you the food here is not to be missed! Everything we tried was perfect, I could eat there every week!

Favorite Chinese food in Springfield. Can't say anything about their cashew chicken because I don't like cashew chicken at all. They have great General's, Szechuan and Sesame. Try the chocolate chip wontons!

Curry chicken noodles and black bean sauce meals are great new additions to the menu. Still a solid place to eat.

We ordered and barely sat down and they were already bringing out our food. No really, it was that fast. And it was really great food. We got broccoli and tofu with rice. Highly recommend.

Nice clean restaurant, great food, clean restrooms with humane toilet paper! (A restroom trip that doesn't resul in cuts and abrasions from shoddy TP is a win for me!)

Service was excellent. My first chinese food back in my hometown in 13 years. The hunan chicken was great. Was in again felt like a high school.kids playhouse. Ordered extra hot food which was nowhere near hot and spicy. Dumplings were fried previous to.my.order and served cold in a paper bag. Food service was disappointing

Great service! Their General Joe's Chicken is the best I've ever had. Order the all white meat. Great tasting food and their service was great this evening with our drinks being refilled several times. I try to visit them every time I'm visiting Springfield.

It is my favorite meal. I’ve been eating at Peking House since before I can remember. My Grammy lived just east of Springfield and every trip meant Springfield cashew chicken. Obsessed is an understatement. My family would always go get it and bring it back. It wasn’t until I was older that We ate in the restaurant. I stop every trip to Springfield. Service has always been great. Food always amazing and the memories unforgettable. Thank you Peking House!

I always get the Szechuan chicken. I like it mild. It has a clear-sh, very light sauce (not thick at all), lots of vegetables, and non- breaded chicken. It’s very healthy, yet delicious. I eat it when I want to be full and eat healthy.

Always friendly, clean, consistently good, never eaten inside or walked inside. My go to for cashew chicken and crab Rangoon’s in the SGF area. Also it’s conveniently located for the way you usually depart from and arrive into town.

What a great lunch! We had Beef and Broccoli and Cashew Chicken. DELICIOUS! Great friendly, fast service and very clean dining room. We will eat here again!

Food was very tasty, we walked in found a place to sit and then placed an order. Had food to the table and under 8 minutes.

Been a regular at this establishment for years. Consistently great experiences. Food is always fresh, great tasting and received with minimum wait. Prices are average in comparison to similar facilities. Staff is always friendly. Dining area along with restrooms are always kept clean. Highly recommended.

I've come to this restaurant since I was in high school ... Back when dinosaurs roamed the earth.... It's always been a great, affordable place to eat.
I stopped in on my way back to Saint Louis a couple weeks ago, it's still one of the best places in Springfield, MO for cashew chicken.
