Twin Oak Wood Fired Pizza & BBQ

Twin Oak is a must-visit spot for delicious wood-fired pizza and comfort food, along with tasty craft beers and cocktails. Make sure to start with the Smoked Jalapeno Shrimp Poppers and then try the Smoked Brisket and Chicken, as well as the Meatier-ologist Pizza - my personal favorite! Vegetarian pizza is also available.

The staff is incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is laid back, perfect for a casual meal out. There is plenty of seating space and a parking garage is available in the rear.

Overall, a 5-star experience!

Hostess let us know they were understaffed and that we’d have a short wait. We barely waited before getting seated.

Our server was friendly and made us feel welcomed. Our order was taken accurately and our food came out quickly. So very delicious!

Dinner at 5p.m. on a Saturday. We needed a table for 4, and had no waiting. By 5:30 they were starting to fill up. I had a side Cesar salad to start, it was very good. For the table we got the Buffalo chicken bites, with a side of ranch. They were really good, but if you aren't much for the spicy you might want to pass. One had a chicken Cesar wrap with the burnt ends Mac and cheese. I'm told that the Mac and cheese was especially good. We had three different pizza's at the table. There was a Veggie, a When in Rome and a build your own with pepperoni, Italian sausage and Banana peppers. The pizza's were all hand tossed crust. Cooked in a wood fired oven they all had a good char on the bottom. I was quite pleased with all the pizza's. They were very good!

I would definitely visit again. Worth a visit.

Fantastic pizza. I got the Meatier-ologist. And Guinness on tap, x 2. Happy hour 3-6 pm, so the total bill was well under $20 with tax.
Service was great, super nice staff.
Music was right... RHCP, Led Zeppelin, but other good choices, too, and not extremely loud.
And I have half of the pizza left for lunch tomorrow.

So flavorful, with fresh ingredients and of course the wood fired oven taste.
Try the wings on the appetizer list and forget the dipping sauces. The wings have been smoked and then cooked in the wood fired pizza oven.

My son's been telling me about this place so for my birthday this was the place we decided to go. This was Sunday afternoon and we were greeted right away as soon as we walked in by the bartender and hostess. The restaurant looked clean and inviting with an aroma of wood smoke throughout. Our waitress was very attentive as we ordered drinks (Bloody Mary's spot on) smoked wings and two pizzas. Been to a lot of pizza places and this probably tops most brick ovens. Looking forward to going back.

Great little restaurant! Nice draft beer selection, featuring several local breweries, clean inside, nice patio as well!
Let's talk Pizza. WOW!!! Probably the best wood fired pie I've had. ( The Barn Burner Pizza.....YUM!) BBQ, yep can't go wrong, the aroma alone is worth the visit. Smoked wings? You can only imagine. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, STOP BY!!! SUPPORT LOCAL!

Pizza was great. I'm a pretty basic guy and just got pepperoni pizza, but my partner got the chicken bacon ranch pizza and I tried hers. Tasted great. First place I've been to that I'll actually try the specialty pizzas.

Also of note they seemed a little understaffed, but the service was still great and friendly (Brittany was our waitress). Wait times were shorter than some other, better-staffed places. Definitely plan to be back.

Went for dinner and had a great meal. Smoked wings were great try the honey chipotle sauce. Also excellent wood fired pizza and smoked pulled pork. Very reasonably priced and conveniently located. Adam the manager was friendly and professional as was all the staff we will be back

Looking for a calzone or some BBQ when you are on the west side of St. Louis? This place does not disappoint! Food is excellent and service was nice at the table. Only area needing attention was the waiting upon arrival and no host or hostess to let you know what was happening in the evening.

To keep it simple... good pizza! We love wood fired pizza and have wanted to stop here for a long time and finally did, and now we are sorry it took so long. Our server was the only one waiting tables which is why only four stars. Not her fault but a message to management. The Jerk pizza had a nice combination of sweet and spicy and the When in Rome may have been a little heavy on the arugula it was still very good. What made both pizzas so good was the crust. Crisp, full of air pockets, and just the right amount of char, it was so good!

Pizza was great, staff was very attentive and the oven is visible from the bar so it was neat to watch the kitchen staff rip out pizza after pizza.

I've had pizza all over the world (literally) and up to today my favorite pizza was from a little restaurant in Tokyo... today Twin Oak Wood Fired Pizza has taken the blue ribbon of my taste buds and stomach! Amazing! Hats off to the chefs (one of them sporting a Naruto shirt which was just icing on the cake to this meal). Seriously amazing. Thank you for the spectacular food!

Amazing smoked wings. Great pizza and excellent service. Plenty of parking in the hotel parking garage next door. Very good beer selection. Happy hour 7 days a week from 3 to 5:30.

Good pizza. The steak one is great. Only down side might be that you can only get BBQ plate for lunch

This was our first visit to Twin Oak and it was very good. Our server Kayleigh was helpful with the menu and prompt with our drinks, and offered great service throughout the meal.
We had the cheese bread appetizer which had a wonderful balance of cheeses on the bread. Not skimpy and the edges were charred just enough from the oven to be very tasty. The marinara and the tomato garlic sauce were perfect with the bread.
We also both had the chicken club wrap which tasted great and was loaded with slightly smoky chicken. I will say we would have liked a bit more lettuce for crunch and better distribution of the garlic aioli, which was tasty!
I got a side of the green beans with tomato garlic pesto and parmesan. Yummy! They were cooked perfectly and had a nice crunch! My partner had the burnt end Mac and cheese. He reported it as very tasty and cheesy!
We also had the warm chocolate chip pan cookie for dessert, served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Great finish to a tasty meal. All the food was hot, fresh and very tasty!
We will definitely be returning to Twin Oak!

Last weekend in August this will be the third year in a row can't wait for happy hour pizza this Friday! The 5 stars should tell what this place is about!

We were very happy to finally give this place a try. I wish we had done so sooner. It's delicious! The pizza is amazing! The best chicken wings we have ever had and good service. Can't wait to go back.

Excellent pizza and enthusiastic, attentive service. The pizza crust was cooked perfectly and was really my favorite part. My husband and I visited Twin Oak for the first time today and could not believe we've never heard of it before. Definitely a hidden gem!
