The Tattooed Dog

The food here is really good. It’s priced well and everything is essentially a double portion. Massive hot dogs. Absolutely massive herb crusted roast pork sandwich and enough chimichanga fries for 4 people. 1 appetizer and 2 entrees, $40. This order could definitely easily feed 4 adults. Recommend for sure. Good stuff.

Really great experience here today. Service was good and attentive and the food was delicious. Had the Perzola Burger. Sorry didn't get pics of the food. Took one bite and never set it down. 🤤

Great place for an awesome hot dog! Best I've had in a long time! Shared the 12' Tattooed Dog, had great flavor and a nice kick from the jalapeno! Fresh ingredients and a thick all beef fried hot dog?! Yes!! Next time we visit from Florida I plan to come back for another! Located just a short walk from the hotel!

12/10/23 was my first time eating here. She had ate there previously said it was good so we stopped in.

I proposed to her on 09//24 but we did not have the ring from the jeweler until that evening. So she would be receiving the ring for the first time.
When we got there, we were greeted by the hostess. She showed us to our table and introduced us to our server, Natasha.

Right off the bat, the place smelled absolutely amazing. Looking around the place was trendy, clean, had a nice bar and dining areas.
We ordered our food, and she got up to go wash her hands.
While she was washing her hands, I asked Natasha if she could bring the ring out with her food and I explained the situation. Natasha said that she would be happy to and would think of something. I never for a second expected anything like what we received.

I mean, I don’t even know that they had a dessert menu, but they came up with this amazing dessert that looked a gorgeous. The strawberries were cut in the shape of roses, and she even brought out champagne. The staff throughout the restaurant began clapping and cheered after she got a ring.

Oh yeah, the food!? The food was as great as the evening was. Tasted great. It was cooked perfectly. if you enjoy loaded fries, you’ve got to try their. Definitely setting a new standard when it comes to that!

Everything was perfect! From pulling into the parking lot to walking out the door with our to go boxes.

Great place to get some Great Grub, staff was very helpful and easy to work with. Big fan of their burgers, wraps, loaded fries. And they have some pretty wicked desert options.

Tattooed dog is our favorite restaurant. I rarely post reviews. Like maybe two times in my whole life. But tattooed dog deserve one!! By far some of the best burgers I’ve ever had. And the most reasonably priced burgers. Staff has always been friendly and very accommodating (we usually bring our two little ones). Awesome atmosphere and really such a good mix of rowdy and mellow. Seriously awesome and I will recommend this as my favorite restaurant every time. If I could I would open up my own!!

Me & my fiancé was car hunting one day up in this area & was trying to find some new cool place to eat & found this GEM! Literally a GEM! I love this place!! 1st the atmosphere is so cool!! 2nd had a great waitress! 3rd the food was awesome!! I mean every single thing looked amazing on the menu. We narrowed it down & omg! It was so dang good!! (See pics) I highly suggest going!! You can turn your fries (you get with your meal) into any of the neat options they have. I got the buffalo chicken ranch with an egg Benedict type burger with a pretzel bun. My fiancé got the chicken/pancake sandwich with syrup. They were both so good! I definitely want to go back asap & tried the fried ice cream!

This place has a very straight forward menu and its delicious. My family leans towards vegetarian options and their homemade patties are worth the 30 minute drive for us. Not to mention they are so friendly and are willing to customize any of their burgers for us :).

Stop looking for anywhere else to eat in Wentzville. Not just for today, but forever. If there's a single thing on the menu that looks halfway decent (everything) then order it, you won't be disappointed. The worst thing on the menu is the free water, and the best thing is whatever you just ordered. Their worst day is better than anything else in town and it's not even close.

Pro tip, they have a whole section of the menu dedicated to fries for a reason, they know how to make amazing fries and we're blessed that they're included with almost everything on the menu, don't miss out on them.

Staff is friendly, they'll let you customize your food or drink however they can if you ask, the specials vary from great to something you'll think about all week.

The only negative is that you can't actually eat everything on the menu in one sitting, or sometimes even the burger you ordered. Portion size starts at large and only goes up. The amount of food you get for the price is fantastic, and I'm not sure how they can stay in business at their prices.

If you're ordering from DoorDash, and you want an item customized, they'll do it. If you know if an item they have on the menu that isn't on DD, call them, they will work with you. I've not seen better customer service and item customization from any place that isn't my home kitchen.

I've been going to this place since the week I moved into town (4 years ago now), and I'll be going until the day they close.

Great place! Burgers are great and the fries just as good. We had a server and I don't remember her name unfortunately but she was amazing. She was running ALL the tables on a Sunday solo and didn't skip a beat. I tipped her accordingly.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! My sister in law and I go to lunch every week, and since we tried the Tattooed Dog, we never go anywhere else! The carnivore fries are SO GOOD along with everything else we have tried and the prices are reasonable for the huge portions you get. Food always comes out fresh and fast! We sit in Lindsay's section every week and she is so awesome that she has become like a friend to us! I cannot recommend this place more.

Everything was awesome, from opening the door to leaving! When we walked in the music set the tone for sure! Natasha, super awesome!!! Let's talk about the sauerkraut dog, that was definitely my pick! Should be a forever dog!

Great spot for burgers and hot dogs. The french fries were delicious 10/10 would get loaded fries!

I'm literally getting hungry even thinking about writing this review. The place hits the spot every single time. Nothing on the menu is a miss. We always bring friends and family from out of town here because we know they'll find something they love. 15/10 local spot.

This place is delicious. Clean, friendly and fresh. I can’t believe it’s not packed every night. Great burgers and some creative choices that are worth exploring too! Weekly visits and never been let down.

Came here after the renaissance festival and we had Miranda as a server. 10/10, she was amazing, she refilled our drinks and checked on us at appropriate times (not while my mouth was full thank you!) we will absolutely becoming back to this place! We ordered a few different burgers and the Tattooed Dog and it was AMAZING the food was quick and delicious!

All the food we had was amazing, and the chili cheese fries were probably my favorite thing of the whole meal. Super friendly staff and the willingness to work with you to customize your burgers,dogs ,or fries

We originally came across this place while doing a job that lasted 8 weeks. My sons almost went here daily for lunch. We just attended the renaissance festival for the Viking weekend. We were so close that we decided to take the rest of the family here. The Tattoed Dog is a great family friendly little bar and grill. The food (especially the hamburgers) is some of the best around. Great service and atmosphere. You won’t be disappointed! I personally recommend the Maui burger!

Very awesome service! Lindsay was our server and she was great. Never went without a drink, very attentive, and very nice and informative. Atmosphere is very chill. Mural is super cool. Food was phenomenal. Definitely worth every penny. Very filling and flavorful

The food is always fresh and amazing here! We are never disappointed. The Dubliner burger, bacon chicken wrap and the Buffalo wings are some of our favorites. The fries are the BEST.
