Pete's Drive-In

This was my second choice, the other local breakfast place was very busy and had a wait. Being the organic, vegan eater that I am, this is not a place I could eat at very often at all But my husband, who is a farmer had a great appreciation for this place. He had the ham, hash browns and eggs. Standard and he enjoyed every bite. My cinnamon roll wasn't vegan at all or organic for that matter but it tasted good. I don't even know if it was homemade and possibly microwaved. But, the atmosphere, owners & local patrons are what makes this place 5stars. We appreciate small, local business and we left full and happy. It's a go here, it's the nostalgia, they've been in business 51 yrs. ❤

Stopped in with my wife for a quick lunch after a mid morning hike. Food was fantastic. Price was reasonable and atmosphere was very homey and welcoming.

Great for breakfast or lunch. Good burgers, and breakfast meats. The ham steak is top notch. So are the biscuits and gravy with a side of sausage.

This place has been in Wentzville for over 50 years !! It still has that nostalgic feel of old. It’s clean and the food is good. Try for yourself when in the area👍🏽👍🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Super retro-lovely establishment, that happens to have a charming and laid back vibe. LOVE the middle of the room Fireplace with 360 diner counter style seating! This place also has a car-hop for those who want to pull up, order, and eat in the car or take it with. Overall, a deluxe experience that worth repeating 🙂

Nice nostalgic little diner. Food was good, and served quickly. Kids loved the pancake the size of the plate.

Only reason four star is you have to wait on yourself. Food decent ,really cool nostalgia ,brings back A and W memories.

It is so worth the drive... everything made fresh and the rootbeer... you will have to try to understand. Yeah we came because of WIL 92.3. But the place was amazing.

Sometimes, you just have to have a rootbeer float. There is no better place to get one.

Burger was amazing. I do wish they had jalapenos but otherwise fine. Fries were not salty so 10 stars there slaw was good not super sweet. Price was fair for a double bacon.

I just love Pete's Drive-In, they bring your food out to you so you don't have to get out of the car and they come back and take your trash. The food is great and especially the root beer floats yum yum! or you can dine in if you want

Good ol' Pete's Drive-In. A classic joint and a staple of old town Wentzville. You can't go wrong at this place. Their burgers are delicious, they have root beer that can't be beat, and the fries are always fresh. The staff is pleasant. It's an older place but well maintained and clean.
You can order stuff from your car (Sonic style) but their boxes speakers and mics don't work well or at all, so going in is better.
