Cool addition to old downtown wentzville. Many guitars and other instruments on site for purchase as well as other services including lessons and repairs. We were able to view the repair area and they seem to be set up to fix many musical items including guitars and amps. The repair man seemed to have extensive knowledge with his decades of repairs. We'll be back to bring in our personal amp and guitars as well as shop. I recommend stopping in!

The care they put into refreshing my '61 Les Paul can only come from years of experience and love for what they do.

This is an amazing store. The owner was incredibly knowledgeable. The guitar instructor is amazing. The ambiance alone will have me go back. You can actually sit in a historical building on furniture that makes the whole experience even more awesome. I have never been to a store with so much charm no sales person running behind you at every step you take. I'm a firm believer in small businesses. This hidden gem will be my go-to store from here out.

We purchased a used drum set. The price seemed more than fair. The inside has a nice feeling to it.. I will go back again. The only issue is now my son has a drum set. Any recommendations on ear plugs. JK. Check it out for your self.

I have my grandfather's 100 year old mandolin that I've wanted to repair in forever. I got a unbelievable reasonable quote!!! They repaired it quickly and it sounds beautiful! I highly recommend this place and the atmosphere and friendliness is great!

Outstanding shop and a real jewel for the area. The owner and staff are long time pickers, with loads of experience both just as players and on the professional circuit. Great selection of moderately priced instruments with top quality tone and a wall full of vintage instruments to suit the collector and accomplished player. The instructional staff really works with students and after almost every lesson give the student and appraisal. For the younger crowd just starting out Mom or Dad will hear from the instructors just how things are moving along. You'll be missing a sure bet if you don't come in to talk.

I had driven by this shop a million times since they first opened. They were just somewhat of a jam room back then with a few guitars and no service shop. Well let me tell you, they are a complete retail shop now with full set up/repair service and they do a fantastic job! I dropped off my neglected Ibanez Artcore that was covered in dust and had never been properly set up from the day I bought it 10 years ago. I picked it up 4 days later and it looked and played like a brand new guitar. They took out the buzzing I had in the strings, reset and oiled the neck, polished up the body and hardware to a mirror finish, and they even repaired a broken volume pot that was crackling on me. I absolutely love this guitar now. I had no idea it could play so well. I was so impressed that I dropped off another guitar the same day I picked this one up. Sales and staff are super friendly and very helpful. So glad I went here instead of other big name stores that charge almost double for I what i wanted. Their guitar tech does amazing work!! Would def recommend!

Good instructor with broad knowledge of several instruments. Great small town feel with a personal touch. Some instruments, but store's main strength is instruction. Check'em out if you're wanting to learn guitar or piano.

Nice ambience in a cool old historic building. Friendly staff. We were just there on a fact-finding mission regarding banjos he told us everything he knew and then we left didn't buy anything but the information was good.

Dropped my Gibson SG off for a restring and a setup and it came back in brand new condition. My guitar is a 1989 so when I got it a few years back it was in rough shape. I had it setup before and even cleaned it up myself for what I knew how to do. When I gave it to these guys they did a great setup. You can't even tell it's been used. They even cleaned the rusty hardware that was on it and then adjusted the neck and set the intonation perfectly. I know how to do a basic guitar setup but sometimes I like to drop it off at a shop to get properly done because I don't always have the time. These guys have a great guitar tech!

The shop is a jewel in the town of Wentzville and must stop in for any musician. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, the instructors gift, the atmosphere is welcoming and encouragement for all levels of new and established musicians abounds. Get your kid started on any number of instruments and for those that is has been a while come on back and remember and relive the good feelings when you make a tune your own. They have string instruments for all price ranges. Drop by and start picken and grinnen again.

Great crew teaching guitar. Great atmosphere in the waiting room. One of the best places to go if you have to wait 30 minutes for a lesson.

I have a 1984 Electra Westone Guiltar. Some how I lost a saddle on the Floyd Rose Bridge. This model bridge is not been around in decades. I've been to Guitar Center, Pro Guitar Shop, and Wentzville Music. No one could find or really wanted to even try to find a saddle for me. After having my guitar for two week Old Friends came through. The found broken sodders and cleaned off the rust that built up the the lock nuts and polished it up nice too. Thank You Old Friends

I don't recall going here but Google says I was. I may have been to drunk to remember. Matter of fact I don't even know how to play guitar. Either way I'm sure it was a good time!
