Masala Bazaar and Halal Meat

Awesome experience. Very good collection of groceries, fish,baby chicken,goat.
Their fish and meat cutting section is one of the most cleanest and free of any unwanted odors that we usually experience in most meat selling shops.
It's a shoppers paradise for sweet lovers and nonveg lovers...
They also have an all you can eat buffet at a very reasonable price with menu suited for all...readymade snacks are also available.
But icing to the cake are the people and their way of making us feel at home and so welcomed.
It was my first trip there and i got everything along with very good memories.
Looking forward to visit the establishment very soon.

Came here based on my cousin’s recommendation. One of the best grocery stores I have been too. It is a big store compared to other Indian/halal stores. The store has a great selection of packaged food items. The store also has a fresh food section which is again much bigger than other stores. They also have a really good restaurant. We love coming in and ordering food from here. We come by here once week! The service is great and the owner is very friendly and helpful! Such a great find! The store is a little hard to find but a total gem of a store!!!

Lunch buffet was fantastic! Meat dishes only for weekday lunch. Was told they have vegetarian options on the weekend. Little grocery store opens up in to a huge warehouse with a comfortable place to sit and escape the office. Hidden gem for sure!

By far one of the cleanest and smell free desi store thus far. The chicken patties are delicious. And they just happen to have a private room at the back to host small desi functions. Room is free to rent if you order food from here.

We were visiting from California, we needed last minute Indian sweets for our sisters mehndi. The owner was quick to support us, his hospitality and last minute accommodations made our event a success. Thank you so much Uncle, we will be back!!

Great halal meat and fresh seafood store with nice Desi food and grocery options as well. Very clean and friendly staff and ownership. Meat quality is solid as well. Grabbed a samosa for the road and it was fresh out of the kitchen and just perfect.

Simply the best. If you are looking for excellent customer service, fresh produce, fresh halal meat, a clean calming environment and so much more then you need to come here. If you are like me and love to try new things and love to cook foods from different regions you may not always know the difference between certain new food or cuts of meat. Well I had been to 3 halal markets today and I wish I had just come here first because they had everything and were so helpful from the time I walked in to offering to help carry things to my car. This is my new go to. It's a little odd to find since it's up a little hill but it is handicap friendly.

We've been shopping here for more than 6 years and seen the immense transformation that Mr. Azad and Mrs. Mona have worked so hard for. The quality and wide range of products they stock is excellent and convenient. Mrs. Mona is a total sweetheart to her customers which makes the shopping experience that much more pleasurable. Shop here! You won't be disappointed.

Haven’t seen any cleaner place for halal meat in the Columbia/Elicott City area other than Masala Bazaar.
The couple Azar Bhai and Mona ji are hospitable and are of great service to the community by running this business.
By far the tastiest Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine available in the area. And there is no one who can beat their price.
Their Chicken Shami kebabs are to die for.
The other curries and entrees are equally good.
Love the food, great owners and a cleaner halal store. What more do you want !

Wow! What a hidden treasure! The location can be a bit hard to find, but follow the signs. You'll only come once and know you'll be back! This is a well-stocked and clean grocery with fresh vegetables and excellent halal meat. Great selection of goods and foods to meet your needs. Definitely, come to shop. Stay to eat. The food is wonderful. Freshly made and tasty! Do yourself a favor and call ahead. If you give the owner a heads up, you can even get things off the menu! I visited tonight, and I will definitely be a regular.

Came to buy spices but ended up staying for their buffet. Food was 10/10. Try the beef curry and chicken masala. The guy serving us was very welcoming

The wait is over! This is the best Bangladeshi store in the area and has a large assortment of fish, cooked food and Bengali sweets. They also take catering orders, you must check them out!

I had amazing experience shopping at Masala Bazaar. I am definitely going there again. Lots of options for everythinv especially for bengali ingredients, sweets and food. Also sweets, snacks and meal options for Indian, Pakistani snd Bengali food. Owner is amazing! Do not let the location deter you! Once you go in, you will love it.

Came here for paneer and various spices after the original place I tried to go to was closed. I don’t cook Indian food often enough to know whether the prices were low, but they seemed reasonable and they had exactly what I needed. I would come again to this store in the future.

Introduced to this market by my sister in law. After growing up in Leicester, England, relocating to New York and married to an Indian for 40 years, I have been in many Indian grocery stores. I can honestly say that this market is the cleanest, most organized store I have visited. The quality of the fresh produce is exceptionally good. Service and friendly demeanor of the staff and owner made for a most pleasant shopping experience. Highly recommended.

This place is fantastic!! The grocery operation is clean, well laid out, and well-stocked.

The prepared foods were quite a surprise --absolutely delicious!! The samosas were as good as any i have had!

And the best part of the store are the owners -- they are the nicest, hardest working people and it is wonderful to see their success.

I look forward to grabbing lunch the next time i am in the area.
