Ma sha Allah, so excited finally try this place out! Alhamdoolilah the store is very clean. Banyan has organic chicken, organic goat, beef (he buys the cow whole and cuts it himself~Ribs, chuck roast, steaks. NOT just different “cuts” of the leg). He has frozen mlookheya and frozen bamya, beef and turkey bacon, other lunch meat. Afia and Orlando brand grape leaves. I mainly go to the halal stores to buy meat, but just went through it quickly to see what items I can get in the future.
I bought beef and it was excellent. Smelt clean raw, smelt clean as it was being cooked, and tasted great, msA.
Columbia has a varied community of Muslims and if he does not have an item you usually buy (that you plan on buying from him) ask him to get it. The owner and his son are very kind and polite. God put Baraka in their business.

Excellent family run business. Meat is clean and professionally handled by the owner and his family with plenty of options (organic, marinated, etc). Grocery selection is not as diverse as other options nearby but has core essentials.

Also a great option for party prep - we ordered 20lbs of marinated chicken for a gathering. Excellently seasoned and served in a solid aluminum tray, making it easy to throw directly into the oven.

I was initially skeptical of another halal grocery in the area but have been convinced otherwise :)

The store is very clean and organized, there’s a variety of meats, spices and more. The staff is very helpful. They also have afghan dried fruits. I would definitely recommend coming to Bamyan Halal meat.

Found this butcher a few weeks ago and we'll be getting all of our meat here from now on. The meat is fresh and tender at a fair price. Family owned and operated.

My husband went by there the other day and picked up a pack of fresh original precut marinated chicken and the quality and taste was superb. He brought it home and I cooked it for dinner the same day. This market will become my favorite place to purchase my meat and a gem in our community. I can’t wait to try out more of their products. I don't know the owner of this store on a personal level, but I googled them to call and ask for prices with specific cuts of meat. Let me tell you, I was disappointed in the reviews because of the way I see fake negative comments.

The owner is one of the nicest people I've ever met in my life. Him and the lady both are always helpful, soft-spoken and so polite. He always goes out of his way to help any customer in the store. I've witnessed this many times.

I even had a very personal conversation with the woman who works behind the register and she was so kind and compassionate.

The meat is always clean and fresh and you can see how much pride they take in their business. Please do not believe these fake reviews that are negative.

Bought beef cubes and they were fresh and absolutely tender. Love having an Afghan halal meat spot locally

Super clean and a great neighborhood grocery store, owners are friendly and welcoming. It’s extremely convenient to have this lovely store within walking distance. We bought marinated organic chicken and they were absolutely delicious. We are looking forward to try all their kabobs and lamb chops, YUM 😋! They recently opened the store and already doing a great service for the local neighborhood.

Aside from amazing customer service by a delightful family, the fresh meats are cut to order. This has been my preferred butcher since discovering it. I can also find tasty cultural and international products which remind me of my time abroad.

Very good quality meat and the customer service is great! I drive 30 minutes every two weeks to purchase halal meat.

My family has been eagerly anticipating the opening of Bamyan Halal Meat and Grocery. I stopped in today and picked up some in-house marinated chicken and lamb chops. The prices were great and the owners are very helpful. This is such a welcome addition to the neighborhood, we’re looking forward to being regular customers.

Though I only eat fish as far as meat goes, the store has plenty of common cooking, and just general living necessities that I might have had to drive to a supermarket to get when I run out

I was told by an employee of the store that fish is coming to the store, as it has only been open a short time

Now I can just walk there for some basic stuff, which is great! 😊

Lots of great veg options as well like frozen samosas and falafel.

This building used to be a hair dressing place, and I think this is a much better use of the building overall 🤔
