Fort Johnson Commissary

Bakery outdid their self on my daughters birthday cake! First pic is how it looked when we got it and second is how it was after we put the decorations on. Taste was 10/10b

Post is clean, well groomed. Commissary was as well, isles were uncluttered. Experience went quite well, able to find the majority of items we needed. Had some great BOGO’s. Some prices are still sticker shock, cereal and sodas for one. Able to find better deals occasionally off post. Staff have ALL been friendly and courteous and FRIENDLY which is more than I can say about trying to get help in the Post Exchange.

Always enjoy shopping here! Cleanliness is superb, stocked, variety, of course always fantastic prices, brought to us by cheerful, courteous, helpful employees!

The Sushi Bar provides the best fresh sushi every day!!! Love the freshly made sushi and cleanliness.

Employees are great here. Cashier's are always nice and baggers are always super sweet. Great selection and also very affordable. My gluten free flour is literally half the price here as it is at Wal-Mart. Produce is fresh and sushi is top tier! The sushi here is seriously better than any of the restaurants in DeRidder or Leesville. I also REALLY love that they have racecar buggys- that has been a life saver for me and my 3 year old. Overall I like this place

I was surprised with what they had. I went in to get some things for traveling. I saw the sushi bar as soon as you walk in. I stopped and got some sushi. The guy at the bar was extremely helpful with helping us with a selection.

Large, spacious, and with a nice range on brands. This is one of the better locations I've seen.

Like just commiserate gives you good deal sometimes.

Great quality products and pay no tax on the purchase. The have added more self check out machines which makes the buying experience better if you only have a few items to buy. Overall highly recommend this place.

Went in to compare prices to those that I saw at Andrew's Air Force Base and Ft. Polk's was much higher. They did have all of my favorite German Christmas cookies and that made the trip even better.

It was clean, well stocked and everyone there was helpful and friendly. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Shout out to Ashley, our cashier. What a sweetie!

Well stocked, a lot of items our family uses are half the price of local retail. Meat and produce quality are better than local as well. Highly prized benefit for this veteran and my family!

Stock on shelves were slightly depleted, to be expected post pay day #1.

Great prices on many items, lots of groceries that can't be found most places in this area. Excellent service everywhere on base. Vets and their families are well taken care of here.

Masks are no longer mandatory here, but the employees still wear them. Produce was fresh and plentiful. It wasn't busy today. Good experience.

This is a very clean story. The staff will help you find anything. The will cut meat to order very patient what everyone's request have some of the best freshly baked bread.. I was very impressed with all the selections they had to offer and how fresh all the meets in the butcher section look.the post ask that you do not take any photos while on Fort Polk to protect our military personnel and family so I do not have any to share. I must say this is a very well equipped Commissary and a great asset to fort Polk.

This commissary has a decent selection. Don't expect it to have everything you're looking for; however, the produce is the best in the area, and this is where you'll find your best prices on many items. Also, if they don't have something you want, you can usually request the item.

Very clean and easy to get down the isles

The Commissary has a wonderful selection of frozen, fresh, and boxed food items. It also has a couple isles of drinks, household items, and pet items. The produce is MUCH more fresh than at walmart. The prices are almost 1-2 dollars cheaper compared to walmart.
