Coming from 6 years in Hawaii and having a huge love for this kinda food and atmosphere. This really is one of the best places in leesville if your culturally diverse in food, top three spots for sure, great service a absolute gem tucked away. And cash only purchases just feel right. Atm at circle k if you need to pull cash.

Love this place, love Asian food in general and this my top in Leesville for Korean food.

I was introduced to and instantly LOVED Starlite Special and bulgogi in early 2001. Moved away the same year. 🙁 Fast forward to 2021. I returned and Starlite is STILL my favorite go-to Asian comfort food in the Leesville area.

Every time I've come to this place it has been a, dare I say, 'starlight delight'! Even on this given occasion, during this pandemic, the manager/owner took necessary precautionary measures to ensure safety and did so with a joyous manner. As always, she is especially friendly and upkeeps the diner style atmosphere. It's a great place for family and friends, even a place for business associates to sit down for a quiet place to enjoy at their leisure. Definitely a must in such a town!

Had the pork bulgogi, cucumber and cabbage kimchi. Bulgogi was well cooked, nice flavor, not too spicy. Maybe needed a little more spice. Cucumbers and cabbage were less kimchi and more salad. Very crisp. Maybe they were fresh, but usually they're a little softer and spicier. Was good stuff, though.

The food was delicious and is made to order. The staff, an older man and woman, were kind and made absolutely amazing food. The experience overall was wonderful, and I recommend it to everyone I know for good food.

Clean place with great Korean food at a good price and a friendly staff. A must go if you like Korean

Place was rated higher than other Korean places in town so I decided to try it. Glad I did. I had the Jajameung noodles. Yummy. Place is very clean looking and kind of diner style. Very cozy.

Excellent Korean food, I got the Bibimbap and it was delicious. The meat was super flavorful really having absorbed the marinade. There were two lady’s running the place when I was there and one of them said she’d been cooking for 60 years and you can taste it in the quality of the food.

Give it a go, they’re happy to explain things if you don’t know so much about Korean food too!

A taste that's out of this world!~ Starlite has been around since I was a kid and my grandfather, who's no longer with us, loved that place. I always get a sense of 'times gone by' when I go there. I love that she still only accepts cash.

Always good eating. Best Korean food. The Kim Chi is the best tasting that I ever had. I often have the spicy squid, SUPER DELICIOUS!!! Bring a towel because you will sweat!! Everything is good here!! I come here every time that I am in Leesville. If I lived here, I could eat Korean everyday!!

Delicious food and great service. My family and I stopped in here for lunch and we're glad we did. We all ordered different things - starlite special, sweet and sour chicken, kalbi and rice, and udong noodles...along with cabbage kimchi and cucumber kimchi. Personally, I thought the starlight special was the best dish and the cucumber kimchi was AMAZING.....and this is coming from someone who typically avoids kimchi like the plague because of flavor and spice level. ISide Note - it's been 5 months and I'm still raving about the cucumber kimchi!)

The owners were so kind and wonderful to talk to. Being from Houston, we have wide selection of Korean restaurants to choose from, so we were quite impressed with the food here. Definitely recommend giving this place a try and make sure to get the starlite special!

The one reason I would consider moving back to Leesville!

The food is always on point and the lady who runs this place "momma" as she's call is the most amazing woman ever! She treats everyone like they are her kids, eating from her table at home! The "starlite special" is an awesome go-to and even her "egg foo young" which isn't even Korean is amazing!
