Outpatient Medical Center

Saw Dr Sunil and not sure why all the negative posts. I got an appointment within days of my call to make one. Front staff very friendly and helpful. My wait time was typical of a Doctor's office, overall I was there 1-1/2 hours, that includes lab work being drawn. The nurse was kind and listened to me made me feel comfortable. Dr. Sunil was friendly and a joy to meet. I read some post commenting on the 'looks' of the office, really?! It's a building with age on it but that's ascetics, nothing to do with the people inside. Don't judge a book by it's cover.

I totally disagree with all of the posts about unfriendly staff. I have been going there for almost 2 years and the staff has been nothing but friendly, kind concerned and professional from day one. As far as the Medicaid remark, I too am on Medicaid and my treatment has been nothing but stellar. I do not want to even think about changing my clinic. My doctor, Dr. Sunil is probably the best I have ever had. She is concerned and thorough in her treatment.

I have been going here since around 2005. I love the staff and Dr Sunil. Couldn’t ask for better care. In my opinion yes they occasionally get busy but, more people need to appreciate being able to see a physician, rather than be moody in the waiting area. Spread kindness. Thank you for all you do Outpatient:)

Just got off the phone with Crystal at Outpatient. Not only very professional but extremely helpful; definitely went the extra mile! Moved here recently and am trying to get my husband's diabetes meds renewed. Although she could not immediately help me, suggested a work around. Have to say, it was the BEST medical customer service xperience I have received since moving here!

This has always been a great place. I've only had one issue and they corrected it very fast. Was kind and curtious so helpful. Such good people. Doctor Sunil is a blessing to me. Has been for years. Also to my family members. I've had my family come here to this leesville office also. They have no issues ither. My mom, which is in heaven now, was so sweet, she loved only going to Dr Sunil. If they were bad in any way, She would have let me know. They are good. God bless them in every way. I pray they keep going on.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of a Nurse, who seems to be only one who can handle Medication Refills. I'm a Diabetic, went for my appointment, Doctor approved the Refills...and that's where it ends. It was not forwarded to Pharmacy, I called NUMEROUS times, get transferred to the Nurse. Nobody EVER answers that Extension. Nobody EVER returns a Call. Staff is friendly, Doctor is friendly, but the rest of the Service.......

Nearly impossible to speak to a nurse, never respond to messages or call back, but i do like my doctor...

My appointment was at 8 am. Got here on time only to have everyone in the waiting room called before me, including a walk in. Come to find out the fromt desk mever had me checked in. When i finally get to my room im waiting another hour and 30 minutes for god knows what? Like it isnt that hard to give a wait time for when youre doctor will be in your room, at least give updates as to why its taking so long. There is no excuse. THE ONLY reason this place is getting 2 stars is becuase of the obgyn. She’s wonderful.

Very unhappy, I’ve been waiting here for over 2 hours 7.5 months pregnant with a bad toothache that I need to be seen about and I still have not been seen. There has been several new patients like my self coming in for dental work and I still haven’t been called back and the people that just walked in are being called in after they stated they are new patients. They could have at least told me this over the phone that I would be waiting this long. You would think they would try to get you in because you’re pregnant, but no I am hungry and frustrated! Very poor in customer service and communication!

Appointment was at 1pm, never been there before so I use gps. It directs me to the wrong location so I made it at 1:08pm. Receptionist tells me they marked me as a no call no show because they have a 6-7 minute grace period and she see approximately 40 plus people a day. The normal for any place of medical business is usually 15 min. Not to mention I scheduled this appointment in September and it’s November 18th. She proceeds to tell me the next appointment would be January but she didn’t know her schedule yet. Um, no I’ll pay before I come back here. How do you schedule so many people only knowing that it’s a dentist appointment and not the extent of what has to be done. What a joke.

Hands-down the single worst experience I've ever had at a medical facility of any kind. Called ahead to verify that they could do a specific screening for me for work. Was told they could and that it would be a quick walk in. Come to find out, if I'm not a patient already, I have to see their doctor for an actual appointment first, then they'll test. I told them I didn't have long, and asked how long that would take. Was told it would be quick. Not only did I wait for over an hour in the waiting room, the guy across from me said he'd been there for over 2 hours! I asked twice for updates on how long it would be still, and was just dismissively told "Meh, not much longer." I ended up walking out and driving all the way back to Lake Charles to have the test done with work instead, just to avoid waiting or being dismissed anymore. This place is ridiculous and their staff seems unfriendly and unconcerned. Don't bother if you can avoid it at all...

Dr Sunil was wonderful and caring. Since she left, the new Dr. Swain is completely useless. My son has a traumatic brain injury and she refused all help. Hasn't returned any of my calls in a month. Just useless...

This office really sucks. Absolutely no consideration regarding time with having an appointment while waiting with two young children (both under the age of 5). The receptionist, Shatoya, the only nice person in that office, is the only reason I returned, but after today's experience, I/my family will not be returning at all. Extremely unprofessional in this office.

I wouldn't even give this place a 1 if it wasn't for one of the staff being nice and courteous. It would get a negative review due to the new doctor, Sunil, not filling a needed prescription, due to the counselor, Margaret. I had to wait two weeks and a few days to be told I'd be without a medication because the doctor is "approving" it, with no reason being able to give! I guess you get crappy doctors with Medicaid. Worthless. I will be reporting these two.
