Whisk: a Sustainable Bakeshop

Whisk is a great bakery. I've been going for 11 years. It's only open during holidays now, which is a bummer. Hopefully she'll open back up completely soon.

To say we have missed having Whisk in our lives would be a bit of an understatement, which is why we didn’t hesitate to run over twice for their Valentine’s Day pop up.

The pop tartlet never disappoints, and the crème brûlée cookie was a fun and delicious surprise. Bagel Bombs are of course a staple must have, and as you see in the photo this little petite cake was calling out to us but we had to hold off this time.

Can’t wait for the next pop up soon ;)

I ordered a vegan chocolate cake with vegan raspberry icing for my birthday, and it was DELICIOUS! The cake was rich and moist, the raspberry icing was just the right balance of sweet and tart, and the decoration was so cheerful! The staff are responsive, friendly, and overall top notch. Will be getting another cake from them, for sure!

I bought desserts for my sisters baby shower. It was so tasty! I ordered a vanilla cake with salted caramel icing, vegan red velvet cupcakes, and gluten free chocolate cupcakes. We also got some chocolate bars (I don’t remember the name) and rice crispy bars. Everything was incredible. We had a few people eat the cake that didn’t even like cake and we got feedback that it made them like cake again.

My only con is the cake had salted caramel on top and it spread everywhere. I think it was supposed to crystallize but didn’t. Or maybe it did and melted on the way home.

I would definitely recommend if you have an event!

Great atmosphere! As soon as I walked in i was greeted with a smile. It smelled soooo good! And the vegan options looked delish. I chose the vegan chocolate peppermint cupcake. I wish I had gotten two! It was definitely a great find. You should pass by if you’re in town.

Remember the smell of your grandma’s kitchen when she was making cookies...Whisk Bakeshop makes that nostalgic memory come to life. Not only are all of the baked goods out of this world delicious, but the ingredients are all sustainably sourced. Located in the eclectic Antique Row on Cherokee street, this little bakeshop fits right in. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful with their recommendations!

My husband loves matcha, and I wanted to surprise him with a matcha cake. Even though Whisk didn't have the flavor on their menu, they agreed to experiment with the flavor and make one for us. From what they told me, they tested out a number of versions, wanting to get it just right. Whisk absolutely went above and beyond!

Had a great, straight-forward experience with Whisk for our small wedding and the cake was delicious. They were super prompt in answering my questions and were helpful with collaborating on a cake within their wheelhouse. Ordered two cakes, one cake as the display and the other for the caterers to plate up.

Such a cute, cozy setting with delicious sweets and very kind staff. I drive almost half an hour to go here. It's that good!

This magical treat palace has something for everyone! I love the ice pops, cupcakes, tartlets, scones, vegan and GF options too. There's a lot of love in this little bakery and its sustainable indulgences! Just look at this gooey butter cake!!!

We have become regulars at Whisk, mainly because they have such amazing vegan treats! My wife and I are vegans and it's difficult to find great vegan treats without making them ourselves, but Whisk always comes through! Between Raspberry Thumbprints and Healthy Cookies, they keep us coming back! They recently added Flapjack bars which are also awesome! Highly recommend this bakery!

Whisk made me an amazing vegan strawberry lemon birthday cake and it turned out perfectly! Not only was it completely vegan, the cake was also delicious and moist. The frosting to cake ratio was correct and the addition of little springs was adorable. I loved the taste - nothing was too overpowering. Ordering was a breeze. Thank you so much Whisk bakers! ❤

I have honestly NEVER had a miss from Whisk bakery. Every single thing I have tried has been amazing. Cookies, brownies, and most recently this INCREDIBLE graham cracker cookie sandwich with a keylime curd filling??? I mean…come on. It was delicious. These baked goods are worth every penny!

Lovely, clean atmosphere and friendly staff. Currently allowing one household I to the lobby at one time, which I appreciate. The cashier was friendly and I asked her recommendations for cookies, which were both very delicious (chocolate hazelnut and lemon sunshine). I love their sustainable actions and the fact that it is a pillar of the business.

Whisk did all of the desserts for our wedding! And I don't know what to say besides it was the most absolute delicious dessert ever!! People were talking about how good it was for days. Hands down the most delicious cake & everything else that went along with it was superb! Thank you so much to Whisk & Kaylen for making our wedding day full of tasty food!

Whisk is an absolute delight, and if you have not paid a visit to this quaint little bakeshop, you are doing yourself a great disservice. I work in the neighborhood, and my coworkers and I have made a weekly tradition of visiting Whisk to pick out delicious treats every Friday. The best and most exciting part, is that their options are constantly changing, so there are always new and fun things to try. Plus, the staff is extremely friendly and just as excited about their baked goods as we are!

In my family, baked goods are next to God. This bakery is our new favorite. The flavors are divine. They do a great job of blending flavors without overpowering one or the other. The selection is delightful, we didn't try a single item that we didn't love, from cookies to goey butter cake to the special of the week. Upon discovering them, we went three times in two weeks. And they're only open on weekends! The staff is nothing but friendly and warm, and they took safety so seriously. Plus, they're involved with the community, which makes the food even more delicious. The only down side is that for those of us who live out of town, we have to crave it for months until we can get back.
