Park Avenue Coffee - Lafayette Square

Small but nice coffee shop in the amazing Lafayette Square neighborhood across from the park. Looks like they may have an outdoor back patio as well, but it was closed due to time of year (winter). Good coffee and fast friendly service. Since it is so small, it's not the type of place to spend a lot of time there.

Small coffee shop in a pretty part of town. It's worth getting a cup and walking the park in the morning. The lattes were very good. Tried the gooey butter cake. It was a bit thin, but didn't feel as overwhelming as other versions.

One of the best damn cups of coffee I've ever had in my life came from this place. Staff was beyond helpful and friendly, and my first experience with gooey butter cake from St.Louis, served here, was nothing short of fantastic. If you're looking for a great cup of coffee, some delicious things to snack on and a wonderful atmosphere... This is your place. Right across the corner is Lafayette Park, which serves as a wonderful opportunity to take a stroll with a fresh cup of coffee and really feel the spirit of st. Louis.

This food and coffee is great, that’s why I am giving it 5 stars but they’re never open during their stated hours, weird. Anyway, I would definitely recommend giving them a try and hopefully catch them when open.

Got a lot of work done here. Pleasant atmosphere and amazing coffee. Thank you for being a safe space for us wanting to get out of the office and take a small break! :)

The gooey butter cake is to DIE for. I love the classic, but the cookie dough is also amazing.

Frappes are always smooth and rich in flavor. Never any ice chunks. The hot coffee is always flavorful as well. They have the best coffee. It’s right next to the park as well.

Wonderful best GOOEY BUTTER CAKES EVER. So great I used for wedding and birthdays. I live in Illinois but you better stop for my gooey butter cake flavors.

been a fan of gooey butter cakes my whole life but never knew they started in STL. Even though not all the variations are available, what they did have was fantastic. The freshness of the cakes in the bake were awesome.

Outstanding coffee love the St Louis blend. The service staff members are efficient and friendly. The space is clean cozy and well maintained. Fresh small batch dry roasted beans can be purchased to take home. There are various options from coffee, tea, sweet treats to enjoy on site or take with you. Indoor and outdoor seating place for pets to wait outside.

Great gooey butter cake and iced coffee! The atmosphere is cozy and the service is really friendly. For those with accessibility issues, it's not wheelchair accessible.

I love this sweet little coffee shop! The cozy back patio with pretty blue fire pits is probably my favorite part of the whole place. Both the drinks and sweets are delightful and comparatively priced. Parking can be a bit of a hassle if the area is busy, but every visit is well worth it.

I am definitely a new fan! They had multiple sugar-free syrups, the employees were incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and I loved the atmosphere.

I had a very good sugar-free hazelnut latte. Successfully resisted the gooey butter cake, but I did let myself enjoy the smells!

Their WiFi was open and didn't require some secret password. Coffee was delicious, no bitterness whatsoever.
