Overall, a fantastic place for a good brunch with a lot of natural light to brighten your morning.

WAIT TIME: We came for Sunday breakfast at 9am and were seated immediately.

FOOD: I ordered the breakfast burrito with a side of fruit, my partner got the fried egg sandwich with a side of potatoes. The burrito was so delicious, and it was STUFFED with eggs and pork. You get a lot of food in that tortilla! The fruit was also so fresh and beautifully displayed. The fried egg sandwich was also excellent, and the potatoes… so crispy and perfect! Everything was a 10/10, you can’t go wrong. We also checked out the bakery items at the end and shared a wonderful orange and vanilla turnover that was very buttery and flaky.

SERVICE: Our server was very kind, she didn’t come around too often but she did come by to refill our waters and coffees a few times.

AMBIANCE: We were seated in the upstairs section and the sunlight coming in brightened up the place beautifully. It’s a great space.

PRICE: Dishes were each $16, which seems pretty on par with other brunch spots. And as mentioned, you get a lot of food in each plate. It is an up-charge (which our server did mention before choosing) to order a side of potatoes instead of fruit, but it was only $2.50 more so not bad.

Came here for breakfast. And it was absolutely delicious! Our waitress Maggie did a phenomenal job and made it so pleasant for us celebrating my daughter‘s 30th birthday. Had several cake slices and they were delicious and each of our dishes were so flavorful and good. Can’t wait to come back to St. Louis and eat there again.

I love the simplicity of the menu. Reservations are a MUST. Between the 3 of us ladies we had Lobster Pot Pie, Bacon-wrapped meatloaf and the Roasted Chicken with Bread Pudding. All of it was served beautifully prepared and hot. We were very pleased with service and quality of food for the price and still had leftovers. We then treated ourselves to something from the bakery which you cannot go wrong with anything from that case. Parking is always a little tough because this is in the midst of residential homes and a few other businesses. It's only street parking (no meters) but you may walk a block or two.

The scrambled egg sandwich is one of, if not the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. Was surprised to be able to sit right away during a busy Saturday brunch. Definitely recommend!!

The dinner was very delicious. My husband got the pot roast and I got the house made noodles with pork ragu. We have been there before brunch and desserts, but dinner was exceptional. We will be back again!

Russell's has been one of are family favorites for the holidays and for any chance when we are in the area. The food and service is always top notch. There is no brunch place that compares to Russell's so give it a try for yourself.

Love the cozy vibe, especially with the fireplace going. The cinnamon rolls are huge and made to be shared. Everything I've eaten has been great! Don't forget to get a dessert to go. We get our pies here for the holidays too.

We photographed a wedding and the bride had cupcakes from Russell's that were made by Lia. They were amazing! Honestly, the pictures don't do some of them justice, because they were 2x the size of a regular cupcake. What a "treat" it was to have these at the wedding! Thanks Russell's!

I definitely saw and experienced why this place won the 2023 Local’s Choice Award for the best brunch. The food was amazing and the service was incredible. I loved the atmosphere of the place, very warm and comforting.
I will definitely be coming back for brunch again or maybe dinner. I 100% recommend this place.

Everything was wonderful as always. Every brunch item we ordered was perfect. Love the dog-friendly patio. Just a great place to enjoy a meal.

Flavorful and delicious food. Cooked with love and care. Good service and nice atmosphere. One note to the restaurant would be to offer half portions as the full portions are truly massive and this limits me from ordering several dishes. Will definitely be coming back for more.

My only negative would be that the cocktails were a bit too sweet for me and did not mirror the excellent quality of the food.

This is the OG. Love this place from it's beginning, the owner does a great job creating an experience for guests. Food is always 10/10 and best bakery in st. louis. I dream of the chocolate ganache cake

I have yet to eat at the restaurant, but what I can say are the cakes are delicious! My favorite so far is their chocolate port wine cake, but their signature chocolate and strawberry cakes are also very good. I highly recommend going for the baked goods, and I plan to visit their restaurant soon.

Spectacular food and drinks for dinner, breakfast, and everything in between!

Went for a dinner date and had an amazing meal. So good we went back for breakfast the next day.

Had the most wonderful night at Russell's this week! Our server, Clint, was WONDERFUL & I just want to rave about him for a minute (don't worry, the food was incredible too).

There was an elderly couple next to our table, they seemed to be hard of hearing, & Clint spent SO much time with them. As they got ready to go, he walked them to the door & next thing I knew, he escorted them all the way across the street to their car, carrying their leftovers. It was absolutely wonderful to see & just made the experience even better than it already was.

Again, the food is incredible -- we all know that. But the overflowing hospitality from Clint? That's next level. What a wonderful evening at Russell's!

Ordered brunch take out. One of best breakfast burritos I’ve had. Others loved Lola Jean Breakfast sandwich. Ask for hot sauce too. Only took 20 minutes on busy Saturday. What a gem of a neighborhood restaurant. Hope to be back and dine in next time.

This is absolutely our favorite place for breakfast. The fresh bags are incredible and the gooey butter is out of this world. On a nice day we love sitting in their outside area. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for an authentic St Louis dining experience.

Great for brunch! They also have a great selection of bakery treats and cakes. We ordered the Cinnamon roll to share, the three of us could not finish it, it was huge! The quiche was also super tasty and fresh. Will try this place again for dinner for sure but brunch was a win. The restaurant is small so I would recommend a reservation.

Delicious! The grilled french toast was perfect. I love that it wasn’t soggy and that the condiments were on the side. You definitely need to make a reservation a few weeks in advance. Very cute atmosphere. Would definitely return!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Russell's about two months ago. Russell's has always been a special place for our family and we were so excited to have our wedding here! While you may know Russell's for their amazing food/drinks (which they are amazing!!!!!), the restaurant is stunning and each and every staff member went above and beyond to make our day special! I've never been to a wedding where guests are asking for to-go boxes because the food is just THAT GOOD. We are so grateful for Russell's and their amazing staff. If you've never thought of holding your special event here, think again! We would recommend this place over and over.
