Greg is the best!! He took really good care of us and got us an incredible deal. He’s very personable and made sure all of our questions were answered being first time camper buyers. I’d absolutely recommend going through him over any of the big dealers out there.

I searched havelock area for someone to help me with a water pump that needed to be primed on my rig, I feel I really lucked out in finding Doug at Carteret RV in Carteret. After being told by others that it could be something complicated and everybody trying to schedule me out several days or a week, he said come over and I'll have a look at it. It sounded like something simple to him. And it was, I drove over to Carteret and Doug zeroed in on the problem right away. It was what he thought it was. He has a great deal of expertise in all types of vans, but had no problem with mine. it took him about 20 minutes to resolve the issue due to the awkward position of water pumps on vans! But he got everything up and running really fast. I was really thankful for his kindness and his expertise. Thanks Doug, I will always remember you as my friend and beautiful North Carolina!

What a great gem. I didn't know this service and parts department was here and had such a nice selection of items. The staff was great and was able to order us a part and said it would be there the next day. Forget Amazon! They even called later to tell us that our symptoms may have pointed to a different problem. Very clean as well. Great job! Well definitely come again and recommend.

This was my first time buying a travel trailer.

We have been shopping around for a camper for a few years now and decided to finally find the right one. We tried all the big name stores and immediately felt like we were being rushed. A friend mentioned to check out this location and the first thing I noticed was there was absolutely ZERO selling pressure. We had showed up with our dog and weren’t sure if they were even going to allow us to look at some of the models on the lot. The salesman (Greg) greeted us at the door and said feel free to look around and if you need anything to just come back in and he can help.

Before going we had a specific model in mind and as soon as we saw it we decided that was going to be the one. We went back in and talked to Greg he just laid all the information out for us. We left and said we might be back to look at it again and he didn’t make us feel pressured at all. A few days later we pulled the trigger and decided we were going to buy it.

Fast forward.. a few days before we picked it we noticed some issues that were brought to are attention. That specific trailer wasn’t going to work out so they offered us an even newer model at a price that was EXTREMELY reasonable.

The communication between the service and sales were outstanding. Doug and the other technician went out of their way to ensure we were all set up.

All in all it was an extremely good buying experience and would HIGHLY recommend them!

Stopped in to look at tiny homes, then talked with the owner who gave us the best customer service at an RV establishment we have experienced. No pressure, very knowledgeable, took time to educate us. We are from TN but I would consider doing business here hundreds of miles from home.

I was traveling to Morehead City. My motorhome steps would not extend. A friend, Dave, referred me to Doug at Carteret RV. I called on Friday. Shannon told me to stop by Saturday at 0900 when they open. I was met by Doug. He paired me with Joe, his top technician. Joe check out the steps and determined the motor was the problem. Joe showed me how he determined the motor was the fault. They did not have the step motor in stock, but gave me pictures of the motor part number so I could get it replaced when I returned to my dealer in Cincinnati. I was in and out in a hour, all at no charge! I highly recommend Carteret RV. Every one was friendly, very knowledgeable and efficient.

Staff was super helpful as we looked at a specific model camper we were interested in. They showed us a few similar campers as well. They were knowledgeable and friendly, not pushy at all. We did not purchase yet so I cannot comment on that but overall we had a great shopping experience.

Gotta recommend, they went out of there way and re-opened the store so I could get what I needed just before my trip. Very friendly. Highly recommend!
