1900 Mexican Grill

I've not been to such a delicious authentic Mexican restaurant in quite some time, and I have to say, coming to this establishment was well worth it. A nice little restaurant, I was already charmed by the "Luchador" motif of the restaurant's sign. As soon as I sat at the table, I was greeted by some of the most friendly and welcoming wait staff I've ever seen. An unlimited amount of toasted tortilla chips paired with their fresh home made salsa whets the appetite, my main course of Enchilladas Verde tasted amazing. You can really tell the amount of love and soul that goes into each dish here. Freshly made, great staff, will be back very soon.
Do yourselves a favor and treat yourselves to this restaurant. The authenticity in the food is absolutely delicious.

8/24/2022 went here for dinner. I ordered the enchiladas salsa verde! It was absolutely delicious! I haven’t been to this place in a very long time. We had fresh guacamole dip which was gone before I could take a photo. The waitress was friendly and service was great.

I tried the mango tres leche dessert it was yummy as well. I would recommend this place!!

Thank you to the manager Maria! I accidentally made a reservation for a party of 18 at the other location but told everyone about Park road. I was unable to reach out to the people in my party to go to the other location. She worked it out so we can stay. Our waitress Naomi was wonderful, sweet and very patient. I truly apologize for the inconvenience but glad we were able to stay.

Food is always good the watermelon margarita was amazing super refreshing. Bartenders were nice! Excited to finally try the mole enchiladas - Pictured is the watermelon margarita but it was so tasty I drank half before I took a picture

I dined here being in town for 2 days & I really enjoyed the food it was delicious. The waitress Karishna was so kind & attended me great ! I’ll definitely be back when im in town 10/10 & I’ll hope to see the same waitress .

Ceviche of the Day was Scallops (and small scallops, which I love). The fish was light yet fulfilling eith avocado, lime, cilantro, radish and red onions. Mexican Street Corn was perfection! Arroz Con Pollo is perfect for anyone who loves Chicken,Rice and Cheese. Please order chips, salsa, queso and most definitely their quacamole!!💯

The atmosphere is very familiar, the food is excellent, the presentation of the dishes is always impeccable. The owner is very kind and she always welcomes you with a smile.

So I never leave reviews for anything. Just not my style. But I have to say this was by far the best Mexican food that I have had in Charlotte. The portions are perfect the service is great, staff is very friendly and fast! 10/10 would recommend. I haven’t stopped thinking about how amazing the food was since I left there.

I stopped in here for dinner after a meeting in the area and my experience was wonderful! I sat at the bar since it was just me and the bartender was very friendly and polite, checking in on me throughout my visit. I got a watermelon margarita and it was amazing! I didn't snap a picture of my food because as soon as he set it down, I dug in! Atmosphere was chill, few people (sure more showed up after I left) and employees were wearing masks when communicating with customers which I really like! Definitely will stop in again and will probably bring some friends (I'll need a DD if I'm going to try some more tequila! lol)

First time here after 2 years of living right across the street and wow, I cant believe I haven't been here sooner. The atmosphere is so unexpected for it's location. Great vibe! The drinks and food were amazing. I was expecting typical tex-mex but was happily impressed. My fiancé ordered the ground beef tacos which tasted authentic. I got the Chile Rellano and it was incredible. The owner (or manager) mentioned that was her favorite dish on the menu and they are the only ones in town to make it that particular way- the way she had it growing up. We will definitely be back.

This was one of the best experiences ever! The margaritas are mixed in house with juices and their own recipe, (add Grand Marnier!!!) They are hands down the best!!! The house Salsa is full of flavor and has fresh cilantro, onions, and other ingredients, one of the best I have had in a very long time! We had the house guacamole it is fresh made in house and is absolutely to die for!!!...let's just say, we will be back and bring all our guests that come to stay with us in Charlotte as well. We just moved from Columbus, Ohio and have loved going to our local Mexican restaurants, well we have definitely found our own new place here in Charlotte!!! Maria, one of the owners is so wonderful, she checked on us regularly and was training a new person, Alondra, who was also very talented and great with us.

If I could give you 10 stars I would Maria!!! I love this place and hope you are here another 100 years! We will be back soon, and regularly!!!!

1900 is a great, cozy place. They have awesome daily specials. All of the employees are super friendly and attentive, the food is delicious (and with good prices), the drinks are great (highly suggest the margarita pitcher, or any of the margaritas)! Definitely try it for your next day or night out!

Extreme yumminess! We enjoyed several rounds of excellent margaritas after a very hot North Carolina day. The large portions of food were delicious, and we left stuffed! Very nice atmosphere and and friendly staff.

It is ALWAYS a pleasure to come here and eat. Everyone is polite and helpful and the food and atmosphere are the best in Charlotte!!! Never have I had any issue with ANYTHING in the 10 years I've been eating here. Thank you

I was not expecting much when I saw the menu. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the 1900 Carne Asada, and so far, the best steak I had in a Mexican restaurant in Charlotte. I also had the watermelon margarita, delicious. This will be my go-to Mexican restaurant in the area.

I rarely eat Mexican food .. but it was my husband’s choice for dinner tonight. This was honestly the best Mexican food I have had in over a decade. Looking forward to returning!

Was in Charlotte and tried this restaurant after using google search. We were very pleased with the fast service, great drinks and awesome food! Small and quaint, highly recommend this place.
