Great gym with pool and steam room. Love the TRX room for space to workout with medicine balls, kettle bells, etc.

Great gym with every machine you need. 2 sets of free weights and 3 squat racks. Plenty of benches. Never too crowded and I've gone at pretty much every time. The owners and staff are friendly and always trying to improve the experience. The new TRX room is super cool too

So we, my wife and I, joined on Wednesday and it was a quick easy process. They have really good terms and no contract locking us in for life. We joined so I can do the treadmills, indoor bikes and Life Fitness machines. My wife wants to do some pool classes for mobility. Had no idea they had basketball courts until we joined, same with the sauna and infrared room. It's been 5 days since we joined and I have been 4 times. It's been busy but not so crowded I couldn't do the machines that I wanted to do. Everyone working there has been extremely friendly.

I have been a member here on and off since 2011. I love this gym.
They have friendly and helpful staff. The amenities are top notch. The pool area is great and always maintained extremely well.
I use the weightlifting area and the hot tub daily. There is more then enough space and equipment to facilitate whatever type of workout that you want to accomplish. The equipment is maintained to a high standard and is always clean.
I would have the same drive time to go on base for free to the gym or pool, but I choose to pay for the family plan because I love this gym so much.

Large workout area, friendly staff and clean.

I've been a member for going on 2 years now, and I would highly recommend they GYM to anyone. They have a large selection of weight machine and free weights, and a couple dozen cardio machines of all types. They routinely add new equipment and maintain what they have onsite very well.

I'm not a pool user but from what I've seen its top notch.

LOVE the 24 hour access.

I really love that this gym is 24hrs!!! Most of all it's family-oriented! It is awesome that my kids can come with me to use the facility. They can use some of equipment, go to daycare and/or sit and do their homework in a small sitting area. They also love the indoor pool. It offers so many amenities-basketball court, sauna, aerobics classes, indoor pool, and jacuzzi. The staff is awesome and exceptionally friendly. Really love this place and highly recommend it!

Best place to change your lifestyle. The staff- top notch. They are knowledgable and very supportive. I love that the gym offers child care! This place has so much to offer between classes, equipment and the extra fun activities they do. It keeps me coming back every day- what more could I want from a gym?!?

I recently joined this gym and I enjoy it. 6am to 730 5 days a week. Membership is just a little high for me personally but it is worth it..... Only issue is the dumbells ends and bar ends are loose. A simple set of Allen wrenches and blue locktite would take care of this issue with little to no effort at all. I bring this to the review section because I've already addressed this with staff and was told by the staff that she would leave a note..... it hasn't been resolved. I'd really hate to see this gym go away due to someone getting hurt from something that could've been prevented for less than $20.

Management. Staff. Cleanliness. Set-up. Choices of exercise regiment and availability of equipment. Aquatics. And, 24 hours! If I can sneak in during lunch and then later, fine. If not, I have 24 hours to fit it in and wish I was always that motivated. With the wide range of people that use this facility, from teens to Teen in Spirit, they do a great job making everyone feel comfy! What's not to love?

I have used the exercise equipment, hot tub, sauna, pool and enjoyed a massage, all under one roof. The personnel had the experience to show me how to use the equipment properly with the understanding needed for a person who was a total couch potato. Reading the newspaper articles that showed they are also prepared for crisis situations made this gym the one for me.

It’s my favorite gym in the area . I really wish they would get a ice bath near the pool.

I joined almost 18 months ago. The employees are always friendly and helpful; the people who use this facility are friendly as well. Yes -- this is an older facility, but it is clean, well lit, and well maintained. Weight lifting equipment varies from a free weights room to another area designated for machines. The 2 long rows -- one for treadmills, and another for ellipticals, and arc trainers -- both rows are popular. There are exercise bikes of different varieties -- upright, recumbent, or air-resistance; also several rowing machines. Plenty of classes to choose from -- varying degrees yoga, Pilates, Zumba, step, spin, and Silver Sneakers. Classes for young, old, and everyone in between. There is also a full-sized gymnasium, and a five lane swimming pool (usually reduced to 2 swimming lanes come mid-morning, so the daily water aerobics classes have enough room to exercise). The pool area also has a steam room, dry sauna, and a hot tub.
Before I joined, I checked out the Swansboro Fitness Center -- it's more modern looking inside. But, it doesn't offer a pool, and it's exercise area is smaller than CCAC.

A great variety of workout classes for all ages and levels. The instructors are amazing and the staff is always so pleasant and friendly. To me this is the best facility in the whole county.

Deanna McE run s a class gym and her hands on approach with Dave keep it that way. Comfortable enviroment for high school athlletes all the way to 'senior' gladiators. Her swim program for children is excellent. Staff is excellent and friendly at all times

Cape Carteret Aquatics Center is a great place for all around work out. Whether you want to swim, cardio, weights, play basketball or take fitness classes it deserves five stars!!!!!

The gym is open to members, employees wear masks, exercise equipment is "coned" off so people stay separated and equipment is cleaned after each use.

Very well staffed and all the equipment varied and maintained. Clean. All COVID distancing and cleaning supplies are well positioned.

Whenever I come to town I look forward to using this facility. There is a good variety of equipment with plenty of space for circuit training.
