Hubby and I LOVE this place. It's so good that I drive 20 minutes to get it! I don't understand the bad reviews. The food is delicious! Especially the fried pork dumplings, they're our favorite! They're super doughy and yummy 😋 highly recommend the food! 🥡🥠

Highly recommended! I’m so glad I stopped by for the first time and gave them a try, regardless of the reviews they currently have. The service was fantastic, the food… *chef’s kiss* DELICIOUS! I had the combination platter fried rice with orange chicken. The orange chicken was probably the best I’ve ever had, the rice was so good too. The spring rolls were so good and fresh, I really enjoyed my meal, and we cannot wait to go back again. If you’ve been here before and didn’t enjoy it, please pay them a visit again, I heard they are under new management and I’m sure you will love it this time around. 10/10 👍🏻

I’ve been getting Chinese food from them since I was kid. They are so sweet and remember your face and your order! If you want good Chinese food, this is the place to go.

Our to go place for Chinese food! Love that they have an option to order online. They’re are always friendly when we come in to pick our food. Love the chicken and broccoli, veggie Lo mein, and bean curd Szechuan style.

2019 these owners moved from emerald isle great Wall to cape carteret Golden china. It took three years, but they actually found me, and I finally enjoy my chinese food again.
I am a picky eater, so I usually stay with what I know. I started with fried chicken wings and pork fried rice. I was surprised how delicious it was. One day I walked in and talking with the owner she talked me into boneless spare ribs. At which point I fell in love with sweet and sour sauce. That has been my go to dish for a very long time now.
Tina surprises me now and then with a new dish for me to try, and I can honestly say I have never been served a dish I didn't like. If you may like something different then what is on the menu talk to them, and can possibly change it up for you. One day Tina had me try a MILD general tso chicken, but of course I believe it was sweet and sour sauce, and it was sooo good.
They are the nicest people you will meet, and truly believe in making their customers happy, as well as keep you healthier. They know they will see me again!!!

Came here for the first time and I was surprised that the old owners of the Great Wall own this. I got extra spicy general tsos, an egg roll, and veggie lo mein and it was all delicious and fresh and crispy. I'm going here from now on.

Moogoo gai pan is an excellent choice and the wonton soup here is superb especially when sick. Super friendly staff and excellent service.

Stopped in and ordered 2 lunch specials, General Tso Chicken and Roast Pork with Vegetables. Both specials came with fried rice and an eggroll. My wife likes her Generals Chicken extra spicy and they happily obliged that. It was crispy outside, moist inside and the sauce was perfect. The roast pork was tender and delicious and the veggies just right. The fried rice was also delicious and we had to ask for the egg rolls to go because it was so darn much food. Both meals were under 8 dollars. Pretty hard to beat that nowadays.

Everything is freshly prepared with the freshest ingredients and seasonings. The portions are more than I expected. Always more than enough for the price. The Crab Rangoon, Wontons, Dumplings, and Egg Rolls are all handmade on site. Restaurant is very clean. You can eat in or take out. They have bottled drinks and canned drinks available for purchase. Cheaper than the grocery stores or drink machines. Speed of service is 15 minutes or less. They have excellent customer service and very friendly staff. The current owners Tina and Andy have been at this location for roughly 9 months after having their restaurant on Emerald Isle for 13 years. Unlike most Chinese restaurants, they have their own unique recipes and flavors. Come check them out. I know you won't be disappointed.

The previous owners of the Great Wall Chinese restaurant in Emerald Isle North Carolina now own this restaurant. I cannot say enough good things about this place. A man and his wife own it now who were the previous owners and they have two children. They are just as nice as they can be and the food is so fresh. It is always top quality probably the best that I've ever had anywhere and it's always top notch. I am so glad that they have taken over this restaurant because it is closer to me and I plan to eat there every week.

Best Chinese restaurant in all of swansboro and emerald isle. After trying everywhere, it's so nice to finally find a consistently delicious Chinese dinner with plenty of options. Definitely recommend

The Crab Rangoon is the best!! Everything else is decent, but this appetizer is worth the trip from MHC.

Best chinese in Carteret county. We drive about 10 miles further than 3 others closer to us just because their food is just fresher, better, and always on point. Best egg rolls I've had in a very long time. You can tell they're still made fresh and not frozen. Definitely worth the extra 20 minute drive round trip for the better quality.

DELICIOUS FOOD! Everything we ordered was great. Not good, but great. Nice people too. No skimping on ingredients. Some places offer fried rice that's all rice and minimal meats, not this place. 1st time there but it won't be out last.

Golden China is under new ownership and has vastly improved! The new owners formerly ran Great Wall in Emerald Isle and are amazing people (and cooks!). The food is amazing and the service is wonderful. So thankful to have a delicious Chinese option in Cape Carteret!
