The dirt road leading up to the pier is acceptable. The pier is in great shape. At the moment there is an temporary kayak landing. People are launching kayaks, canoes and etc. directly from the bank. The kayak landing is very near the pier and it's best to go out during high tide but where there's a will, there's a way. There a few pinic tables and peaceful surroundings. There are places to park cars and trucks. Bring family, friends, and pets down to Boathouse Creek and enjoy! Don't forget the fishing gear.
