Foxcroft Wine Co. Dilworth

Soooo happy we finally came here! Our only regret is that we didn’t come sooner. 100% worth the visit or two or many haha. My wife and I got wine flights that were tasty. For an app we got Burrata. It had a lot of fall flavors and it almost was like a dessert. Sooo goood!

For dinner, we got the Pork Osso Bucco and the Sausage Rigatoni. The pork was soooo tender/flavorful and the mushroom risotto side was good too. The rigtoni was exceptional too! They were both great choices.

Last, but not least, one of our servers Megan was so sweet and chatted with us for a bit after we paid our bill. We will definitely be back to visit. We felt very welcome :)

A fantastic place to go for *any* type of meal - date nights, friends, wine tastings, social hours...a great destination for all purposes.

The wine selection is deep and high quality at every price point, the menu has potential options for virtually every taste (don't be fooled that it's a page in total - the diversity is top notch), and the staff is well informed for all requests regardless of food or drink.

A couple of things to catch:
- While it's great inside as well, Foxcroft really shines from Spring through Fall, where the patio is a fantastic place to grab a bite or have a glass of wine.
- The periodic tastings are a great opportunity for new fans of wine to learn about all aspects of the product, and introduce new options to long-time aficionados. Worth a try!
- Just another shoutout to the staff. Quality folks.

Foxcroft has the most delicious menu and wonderful selection of wine, reliably fantastic all around and our favorite spot in Charlotte. The best service also, thank you Kevin!!!

Loved Foxcroft Wine Co. in Dilworth in Charlotte. Such an unbelievable concept. You get to pick out your wine at the restaurant and then they open it for you. There is a small fee if you buy anything less than $30. The food was absolutely unbelievable too- we had the burger, the fries, the brussels sprouts and the burrata. The truffle fries were unbelievable- so crunchy and full of flavor. The burger was cooked perfectly and everything was delicious. Our server Kevin was great too- big love to him. Will definitely go back!!

I was looking for a new place to try in the South End/Dilworth area. Somehow I've tried so many of the restaurants in the area, but not this one so we decided last night was the night to try it.

I've heard great things about the food here. We went with another couple and shared everything. We got the Brussels sprouts, the truffle fries, the three cheese flat bread, the roasted mushroom flat bread, the beef sliders, and the burger.

We loved everything. The Brussels sprouts were very unique with great flavor. The flat breads were perfectly crispy. The truffle fries were awesome. The burger was one of the best I've had in Charlotte. The sliders were equally delicious.

I've noticed a trend recently that some of the best burgers are not from burger places, and I love discovering an under the radar burger (check out the Crunkleton too).

We finished off with the donuts for dessert. They are cinnamon sugar and powdered sugar with caramel and dark chocolate dipping sauces. I was shocked that you got four of each. They're donut hole style but they're really big. Both were amazing. I was surprised that I actually liked the powdered sugar a little more since I'm not usually a big fan of powdered sugar donuts.

The only thing I didn't like a whole lot was the space. It was very crowded and loud. They have wine everywhere, but there isn't room to browse without being on top of someone's table and there isn't much room to walk by. It felt like deciding to make this a restaurant was an after thought in that regard.

It's definitely on the upscale side, but not as much as some of the other wine bars. We definitely didn't fit in with the rest of the clientele. The good news is, the prices are still very reasonable (at least the food, we didn't have wine).

It's also a pretty popular place to go. At 8 on a Friday night, there was about a 15 minute wait for a table of 4.

All in all, I definitely think this is a restaurant worth trying!

Cannot say enough good things about our rehearsal dinner experience at Foxcroft Dilworth. The team was super professional, personable and flexible leading up to our event, and they went above and beyond to make our night special. Food was amazing (per usual), atmosphere was cozy, service was excellent (a little too efficient with those pours lol 👀) & wine was obviously on point. They even worked with us to curate a meaningful selection of wine from wineries we’ve visited together. Thanks again, Foxcroft!

First wine bar experience and this place sold me on the concept. Knowledgeable staff, great recommendations and a fantastic food menu made this a special experience for me and my wife. The burger and donuts were phenomenal.

Wow!!! Really love this place! The wine is served at the perfect temperature and the food is amazing!! Definitely get the Brussels sprouts!!!! Truthfully you can't go wrong with almost any item you order.

Great food and wine. Wide varieties of wine selections at cost and not marked up like you would see in restaurants. The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. There are three FWC locations in Charlotte and we love them all.

Really great selection of wines that you can buy and take home or buy and drink at the table. We only had the apps-- the truffle fries were amazing! Lastly, the service was great and it was a great ambiance especially on the patio where we sat. Easy parking too in the lot!

Such a wonderful gem in Dilworth. Easy parking and indoor and outdoor seating. Intimate and casual. Wonderful spot for a date or evening with friends. Mark, the bartender was super knowledgeable of the wine and made amazing suggestions. The food was amazing.. we had the ricotta and lemon spread, parmesan fries with truffle aoili, beef sliders, and the margarita flatbread. Everything was delicious. I plan on going back again a lot!

Very good concept of the bar - you take a bottle as in the shop and if price of the bottle is less than $30 corckage fee is added, if price is more than $30 you pay price as on the bottle. Selection of red wines is impressive

Nice spot for a date night or dinner with some friends. I would suggest booking reservations ahead of time.

What a great time we had here! My wife and I had been wanting to visit for a while so decided to stop in randomly in the middle of the week. We should have made a reservation in advance but the two of us were able to get a table after about 30 mins. We were able to get a couple glasses of wine while waiting and luckily the weather was beautiful because there are plenty of chairs outside to sit and wait. I had a delicious Riesling the hostess suggested that she mentioned they had left over from the dinner party they had the night before...Dinner party you ask? Check out their website for special dinners they have where you can learn about wines from different regions from a special guest speaker and enjoy great pairings. I have not been but it sounded like a wonderful time! Anyway when you visit be sure to get the truffle fries and be open to suggestions from the staff! They do an excellent job with suggestions!

A must for Charlotte wine lovers, amazing selection of wine from around the globe with very knowledgeable and professional staff to help point you in the right direction.

I’m not one to review having worked in the hospitality industry for almost 30 years, BUT I feel compelled to after my experience at the Dilworth Foxcroft. To say it was perfect is not doing justice. It is where I proposed to my now fiancé. They were not only accommodating, they were the facilitators of a special evening that will be talked about for years to come. In addition to the wonderful management and staff the wine selection is bar none and the food is fantastic. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Charlotte to date.

Love coming here. They have a great wine by the glass selection and the option to buy one of hundreds of bottles to enjoy from their retail store. The value is fantastic for a night out. The menu has a good selection of appetizers and entrées and they all are delicious. Definitely a good alternative to a “ just another restaurant” for a fun night out.

Went with an out of town guest to the Spanish Wine Tasting this past weekend. Offered tasting wines were great, but unfortunately were all gone to order a glass with our food... which by the way was awesome! We shared the Truffle Fries, Lamb Sliders, and Pan-Seared Scallops. All delicious! We did settle on an alternative bottle of wine, which was very good as well! Can’t wait to go back to try more foods and wines!

We had a great experience! Our table wasn’t quite ready when we arrived, so we sat at the bar area for an awesome cheese board and wine! Dinner was amazing. We were even given complimentary donuts since we had to wait on our table which was not necessary, but so kind! Will return!

Fantastic spot! The venue is cozy with a great bar area. Exactly what you're looking for. Perfectly chilled reds by the glass (unique as most places don’t do chilled reds by the glass which is silly). Service is top notch and people get it (special shout out to Ryan and Liz). I also love beer and they have a nice selection of craft beer(cold/not flat! Pet peeve when otherwise!) for those of us who want to mix it up. Went to one of their wine tasting events recently and it was top notch all around! Attention to detail, fun, informative, etc. timing was great, food was perfect. Guys on microphone explaining the wines so everyone could hear- but never over the top. Kudos Foxcroft and keep up the great work! People notice things!
