Jimmys Smoke House

I ordered the pulled pork BBQ tray, and I would do it again! Their BBQ was very good, not dry or mushy. The red slaw was good, and I'm not usually a fan of red slaw. The sauce was ready good, with a good serving size. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I'll be back

The food is always amazing and the wait staff are top notch. My family and I go every Friday night, Candy and her crew are amazing!! We especially love the BBQ chicken, but get there early as they do sell out some weekends.

The food this morning was awesome! The 4 eggs used to make my omelette this morning was enough to hold the filling. This was probably one of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time. The staff was great, the atmosphere in the restaurant was great. Can't wait to go again!

Went to Jimmy's Smokehouse in Welcome, NC, this morning for breakfast. In a word... Awesome! I had a custom order of sausage, fried egg, and cheese on a bun. On the first bite the yoke drizzled through the rest of the sandwich and slowly dripping from my hand. It was amazing and it left me full and very happy. You've gotta try Jimmys!

Walked in on a Wednesday night, and this place was packed. Plenty of staff to keep customers happy, though so the wait wasn't long for a pickup order. The chopped BBQ special was good, sauce was tangy! I ordered a piece of cake and a side of Mac and cheese too. The cake is moist and I enjoyed it, kudos to the bakery in Walburg that provides them. The Mac and cheese on the other hand was nothing special. With the rest of the food tasting that good I was a little disappointed. No texture or spices to make it stand out, even though it's advertised as smoked Mac and cheese it's missing that smoky flavor too. Go for the BBQ, leave the Mac there!

Until tonight I've never had anything here except BBQ ( which is great ) and French fries and hush puppies. On the request of the owner I had the double cheeseburger tonight and it was as good or better than any of the specialty burger places. Highly recommend

Had lunch here. Chopped brisket plate with fried onion rings and bbq slaw. Food was excellent with great service. Onion rings were hand battered and very tasty. Will be back for more!

The cheeseburgers are delicious! It’s so hard to find good quality meat on a cheeseburger these days but I think I’ve finally found the place. First time visit and I will be back very soon to try more goodies from that menu! 🤤 😋

We found this place on our way back from Greensboro. What a wonderful treat. Ribs, chicken, sides and cake was FANTASTIC and the service was even better. Ten stars if I could!! We live in Hickory and plan to go back soon😋❤

Angie, a fellow cancer survivor, graciously invited me for a complimentary meal when I finished my chemo treatment. Seven weeks later I arrived and took up her offer and chose the BBQ plate which was excellent. In another act of kindness, cashier Gracie Moser bought me a piece of Hershey's cake - it was more like a huge wedge big enough to feed a family of four (LOL) - and it ended the meal on a sweet and delicious note. I struggle at times in public because of my health, but everyone at Jimmy's treated me with dignity, respect and a smile. God Bless.

I stop here several days out the week while running my route. Through good ole’ Welcome, NC. where they make you feel welcomed at jimmy’s BBQ. The food and atmosphere is 10/10. In fact I’ll see you guy’s soon. the double cheeseburger is awesome slawsome and rack of rib’s is an force to be reckoned with itself. The lady came right out to my car...very nice... she let us know about how many mins it would be... brought our drinks first...then the food came out to the car...very nice ...very nice

What a great experience. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful explaining the unique menu items available. The pit smoked BBQ & sliced brisket is a MUST! Don’t leave without trying the onion rings, bbq coleslaw, and smoked mac-n-cheese! Definitely coming back to try more items on the menu!

The food was Great!! First time there, and I was impressed with the food and service, even though they were short-handed. My date had a Bar B Q tray with hush puppies, and I had a bar b q sandwich. It was very good! I will return and try something different. The owner came and sat with us at our table and just talked. The atmosphere was very pleasant. A+plus all the way around.

Just ate supper there a few minutes ago. It was very good good service good barbecue, very friendly people.

We decided to try out the new smoke house and it was superb! Not only was the owner going around just as much as the waitresses but Lil Boss was the cutest waitress ever and so sweet. Our food was amazing and by far the best BBQ dip around. I truly hope they stick around!

The wait was a little long tonight but the employees were very accommodating! One of them brought us teas while we waited and one refilled them for us before we left. I loved the food, tasted amazing! Great serving sizes as well! Definitely will come back! 😁
