This establishment may not be suitable for solitary experiences and personal introspection, particularly for unaccompanied females, beyond the customary interactions with waitstaff. With the exception of that minor concern, the overall atmosphere, gastronomy, and service were exceptional. I indulged in the fritto misto, tagliatelle, and the delightful limoncello marscapone cake.

We had a wonderful experience at Volo! The atmosphere is very relaxing and stylish and the food was so good! We got the burrata with truffle oil (10/10!) and the meatballs which came as 4 good sized meatballs. We got the salmon and tortellini for dinner and Tiramisu for dessert. The staff was extremely attentive and the chef even came out to check on us twice! We will definitely be back! Posting a photo of the current menu as I didn’t see any recents on other reviews.

We were very pleased with our visit to Volo this week. We had a group of six and were seated promptly at a great table. Lauren served us and was very attentive throughout the evening. We met Alex, the new chef who just recently started and is now creating a new menu.
We tried several appetizers from the new menu. Some were great and others were less than amazing. The octopus was sliced very thin and cooked perfectly. A plate of meatballs appeared and they were the best. Tasted like a blend of meats and the sugo was top notch.

The arancini was was good, but could have used a little more seasoning. The least favorite was the Caprese salad, we would have liked it better if the balsamic glaze was on the food and not just on the sides of the plate. The carpaccio with buffalo mozzarella was our second favorite which was richly flavored and seasoned well. All the dishes were garnished well and looked appetizing.

The wine list is in a state of repair, so we discussed wines with Lauren and she suggested several wines to try. They have a good selection of wines from Piemonte and Tuscany regions and the prices were fair.
On to the entrees. I had the tagliatelle Bolognese and was very pleased. It was a good blend and the pasta was done well. The penne alla vodka was excellent! The only complaint was the parpadelle pasta with veal sauce was cooked past al-dente.

I have read some great reviews about Volo and this was our first visit. I was very impressed and looking forward to seeing the new menu and wine list. Make your weekend reservations now as this little gem gets full.

The food was Absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was intimate. The staff was Amazing. There is plenty of free parking. I had a Awesome dinning experience .

Ordered the ravioli, it was delicious. Our server, Julian was attentive and happy to answer all of our questions. He even shared that the pasta was made locally! We also appreciated the manager/owner checking with us multiple times during our visit!

Top notch service with amazing food. You can tell that the pasta is homemade. The wine list is also fabulous, we had a delicious Pinot Niro.

Can’t get enough of this place (literally)! Such a cute atmosphere + great patio, food is to DIE for, and as a drink snob… cocktails are phenomenal! Small staff but everyone is so friendly and hard working!

Service, atmosphere, and food were all great. The polpette was amazing as well as the tagliatelle bolognese. Made our reservation through resy for our anniversary dinner and our waiter brought us out a slice of cake on the house which was so incredibly sweet. 10/10 recommend

First time here and it was fantastic! The hostess was very pleasant greeting and seating us at our table. A very pleasant lady brought us our cannellini beans and homemade bread. Our waiter Philly was at our table in 2 minutes pouring us water and taking our drink order. The cocktails were wonderful!!
We had a delicious appetizer of calamari, squash and zucchini flash fried. We all ordered different entrees and all were scrumptious. All ordered different desserts and definitely no complaints.
We will return soon.

From the moment we walked in everyone was very welcoming. The food was delicious and fresh, and the staff was just amazing, they all made for a wonderful dinner. The squid ink pasta had the perfect amount of spice and sooo good, my husband is obsessed with their gnocchi.

Excellent Italian food and great drinks. Service was also good. We will definitely be back.

Visited Volo for the first time this evening and it was one of my favorite dining experiences since moving to charlotte a couple of years ago! The staff was AMAZINGLY attentive and took great care of me from entry to exit—not to mention the food was excellent. 10/10. Check it out!

Our server Alex was amazing. He made our first experience here a really good time. The food and drinks were divine. This is a new favorite for me. The new manager was also really friendly!

Food and cocktails were delicious but the highest praise goes to service. From the host, to the bus person, our server Alex, and the manager Michael, all combined to make us feel welcome and ensure we had a pleasurable experience. We will return for sure!

I don’t normally leave reviews but this restaurant is amazing. Staff is SO lovely and welcoming. And the FOOD y’all the food is so good and fresh!!!! I got the gnocci with vodka sauce and it was perfection! You can definitely tell it was made from scratch. Will definitely be back!!!

Celebrated my daughter’s birthday here with friends of hers tonight and it was just wonderful. The food was great(thank you chef) and from the time we walked in the door every single employee went out of their way to make this a joyous experience. Thank you all for making this such a special evening.

Caesar salad was delicious, the homemade pasta is fantastic and the veal chop was so tender and flavorful.

Great evening and can't wait to return.
