Rookies

Just had lunch at Rookies for the first time. Food was great, drinks were cold, it was very clean, and the staff was super friendly and fast. Was even checked on by the owner a couple times, just to make sure everything was just right. Haven't had better service anywhere on the Crystal Coast. If you haven't stopped by, you're really missing out. Can't wait to go back for breakfast.....heard it's the best in town.

Delicious food and friendly service! All of their food we ordered was fantastic, reasonably priced, and they use quality ingredients! We tried their cheeseburgers/bacon cheeseburger with fries, fried shrimp, and halibut! Even my kids, who are picky eaters, thought the food was amazing and asked for seconds!

Had a great time at Rookies tonight! The band was most incredible! If you get a chance to see/hear Big Sam & the Salty Trio...do not miss them! They are amazing musicians. Can't wait to see them again!

Decided to try a new place. One person as waitress, bartender, cook and dishwasher. A one woman show. Let me tell you, she was Wonder Woman. Beer was cold, food was excellent. Really needed that after a long morning fishing. Will be back.

This sports bar made my weekend visit to the beach so much better! Went on a Saturday night for karaoke and was not disappointed. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The casual atmosphere is very comfortable. Right across from Parkerton Inn. I would definitely visit again when I'm in town!

Nice bar, decorated really nice. Bar tender was really friendly. Prices are reasonable. The band, Work in Progress , was just wonderful. They played their hearts out.

We have visited Rookies several times, and always had a blast. Friendly, Hospitable staff, and I never leave without having the loaded bacon cheese fries! We don't go out often, but when we do, We usually go to Rookies.
A friendly, fun, and trouble-free environment with live bands. Can't go wrong!!! 👍

I absolutely love this place! The owner is awesome. He is so personable and and even walks me to my truck after dark. The staff is friendly and make you laugh no matter what kind of day you’ve had. Unfortunately there are a lot of places who allow their staff to treat customers poorly but not here. They’re always respectful and I love that! You guys are the best!

We have passed this place many times and enjoyed their tongue in cheek signs. We stopped tonight and were very pleased. The clientele are very welcoming - feels like old school Cheers - and the interior is not what you would expect. The walls are real pine tongue in groove with black ceilings and open floor plan. The beverage selection is top notch with a large selection of draft, cans and bottles brews. There is a nightly mixed drink special - Sex on The Beach was tonight's. Pool tables, corn hole and an awesome sound system round out the atmosphere. The bathrooms very very clean as well.

The food --- OMG the FOOD! Nothing typical about the bar fare - burgers, dogs, fries etc! The hot dogs come grilled, the bun and chili (there is a chef secret that you will not be disappointed with) are grilled as well, the slaw is homemade and the beer batter French fries are absolutely amazing! The hubby had the chicken tender basket which was not your run of the mill child's chicken tenders. These were huge breast pieces of chicken that were not greasy nor had too much breading. For the two of us we spent under $30 for two meals and three rounds of beverages.
I highly recommend Rookie's for not only a pit stop but for your lunch, dinner and nightlife stop. OH and the chef is kind of a celebrity on the wrestling circuit from the early 90's and knows his way around a kitchen. The owner and bartender were very welcoming and the service was amazing! Looking forward to stopping in again!

A wonderful place I would recommend to anyone looking to avoid the chains and tourist attracting bars in the area. The owner and rest of the staff were great. And the drink specials were worth it. I'll be coming back next time I'm in town!

One of the nicest sports bars in the area. Very clean and spacious with a cool front porch and an outstanding staff. Daily specials plus regularly scheduled events and live music.

Nice local hole in the wall. Bartender Kimberly was great, she was the main reason we came back few times. Prices reasonable, patrons friendly.

Very friendly clean place great food good prices and plenty of it. The new owners are very good people look forward to going there again .

Have to say, Rookies is fast becoming my favorite. They are always glad to see us and we love Tuesday night karaoke as much as we love the food.

Had breakfast for first time. Very delicious and good helping for the cost. Great atmosphere to! Highly reccomend!

Fun place, we only had appetizers and they were great fried pickles and chicken bites.
