Blue Ridge Parkway Pisgah Access

Thank you president Theodore Roosevelt for creating the antiquities act, otherwise there would be houses condos and strip malls up here on the Blue Ridge parkway. It's extremely beautiful here this 469 Mile long road that brings you to my favorite place of all the Great Smoky Mountains and thank you George Vanderbilt for taking care of this land so beautifully before being sold to the government by his wife Edith

I love the blue ridge parkway! I went on it this time on my way to New york. Beautiful drive as long as you are not scared of heights. Treasure your time and have fun. Use the bathroom before you get on it, they are few and far between.

I can’t say enough nice things about this Parkway. We were on a cross country trip and found this Parkway on the way. Our jaws dropped as we saw the beauty unfold. We felt like we were watching clouds float over the mountains. It was incredible. I highly recommend picking up the guidebook (at the visitor center) and visiting all the points. We didn’t because we discovered it as we were trying to get somewhere but we might do it in the future!!

Beautiful road with trees surrounding, roadside river and waterfalls. You can’t go wrong with this detour.

Roadway along the spine of the mountains with lots of pull-offs for short walks. In case of snow, be sure to check ahead to make sure it's open, since sections get closed for snow or ice. One of the best uses of our tax dollars ever!

We drove 3 hours out of our way for this. Worth every minute! Just stop and enjoy the beauty that is the planet.

Absolutely breathtaking views for someone coming from Chicago! Our Lord’s creation is absolutely beautiful!

I spent a week at a rental house with my family and we all loved it. I highly recommend driving through here and stopping at some of the lookouts if you’re in the area.

Beautiful scenic drive, this section was closed due to ice. 30° at 11 am

Move your Prius to the side of the road. Sports car enthusiast like to drive this road so always look behind you, be safe, pull over, and we will kindly wave! There's PLENTY of pull off places. Thank you! 😀

Great start to a beautiful drive on one of the best roads east of the Mississippi!! Highly recommended!

Beautiful view. Watch out for bikers. You drive into these tunnels and the tunnel is dark and windy. You cant see light from the end of the tunnel. There were several bikes. We about hit them. No lights on the bikes. That's the only bad thing about this road.

Go to the top of Pisgah and enjoy the view one of the most breathtaking and peaceful I've ever witnessed. Parking lot with large balconies with perfect view.

This is the most Beautiful place EVER♥ I will be coming back. The scenery is breath taking and you always have something to take a picture or video of. Please go whoever is reading this and have a ball. Bring water and snacks for the long ride. It's worth it and more♥

The top of 276 on the BRP is Wagon Gap pull out. Big lot and gorgeous view. Lots of motorcycles or cars stop here. Nice sunset spot too

Views for days! The Blue Ridge Parkway is just a sight to behold!

This is almost always where we get on or off of the blue ridge parkway. Highway 276 from brevard to here is a beautiful drive and going either way on the blue ridge parkway is beautiful.
