Al Barnes Carpets

I'm getting close to being done with new construction and, so far, my interactions and experiences with Al Barnes Carpets has been great. Gunnar and Nicole have been extraordinarily helpful and patient with my making selections, including the process of changing my mind. Material delivery (to the extent it's been in their control) and installation has been on time and done very well. Up to now, I'm very happy with everything and am confident the rest of their service and work on my project will result in the same. Highly recommend.

We had a great experience with Al Barnes Carpets. Wonderful selection and extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. We dealt with Andrew, Gunnar and Andy during the process and all 3 were extremely professional and responsive. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! My experience with Al Barnes Carpets was amazing! We were in desperate need of some quick assistance and I spoke with Jamie who was more than willing to take on the job on such short notice. He was easy going, professional, and accommodating to say the least. Definitely recommend this business to anyone in the area!!

I am never one to write reviews. After several estimates, we decided to purchase luxury vinyl plank flooring and carpet from Al Barnes. And we never imagined the flooring would look this good. Randy and Corey did a "great" job installing our flooring. They moved our furniture and made sure we were happy with everything before they left. Highly recommend!!!

Great People Great Job and fair prices. I will update the review later with the pictures. It did take a little while to get the materials but I was told that would be the case. The workmanship was excellent and the communication was very good.

These guys just finished putting new carpet in my home today & I'm so happy with the job they did! They came out & gave me an estimate at no charge last week & then found a spot to fit me in today to get it done! This was a job I needed done from after damage from Hurricane Florence, at a time when everyone is nervous about price gouging, finding the right business to do their work & some companies are wanting way too much money upfront (a small % I understand for materials but not 3/4 of the whole job!)
These guys didn't need a dime from me upfront & had one of the best estimates of all that I had come out & bid it. From the woman that has taken my calls & each one of the sales guys, I guess that's who they are, to the guy that installed today, everyone has been so nice, polite & very accommodating....espcially to me wanting to get this finished as fast as possible! Like doesn't everyone right?! They are slammed busy like every business in this hurricane damaged city but they were professional from start to finish. I never detected any frustrations & I'm sure things were stressful at times for them with other jobs but they were awesome! They get 5 stars from us! Thank you Al Barnes Carpets

We were in the market looking for a company that would help assist us with a flooring project.
This company was recommended to us ..i walked in I meet a young man named Andy he is helpful , kind and listen to my needs and my wants .the kid made it happen he gave me the most amazing floors.
I love them they sent a guy named Fred to my house he came on time and finished on time .loved it .

They’re really busy, so it took a bit for them to get to us, but the floor looks fantastic! They also worked really quick, and cleaned their mess before they left. The owner and all of the employees/ contractors were very kind through the entire process.

Their install man (James) was a real pro and very pleasant guy. The business worked with me to get the product I wanted at a reasonable price.

Plenty of inventory, but very little assistance.

Had a few bumps but we eventually had two rooms done. The laminate that was picked for one room unfortunately was not a close enough match for what we have in the living room so now it's kind of weird but it's too late to do anything about it now. Not their fault but I kind of wish we had them later a few slabs down (the sample piece looked fine but it was just one small piece)

I almost gave them a 1 star. They need to stop taking on jobs and return some damn phone calls and let people know what is going on!

We picked what we wanted and they were going to go and measure. We had to call back and they said they would measure in a day or two but they sent a contract and we signed it and sent it back. Did not hear from them so I called in a couple of weeks and they stated that they had received the contract. They then said they would let us know everything by the next week. I waited for seven weeks and I sent them an email to just cancel the contract. Never heard anything back. Hey, if you do not hear from them in maybe two to six weeks just forget about it, I think they have. They seem to be very nice folks but they just do not get back to you.
