Bishops Haircuts - Hair Color

I decided to come to bishops after I had an awesome experience back in November of 2021 for some impromptu bangs. This time around I want to do a big chop and get some different ! Lacy was AMAZINGGGG ! I showed her a few ideas of what I was thinking and she did exactly what I had imagined in my head for the final outcome. She was so incredibly sweet and I really enjoyed her energy 🥹 I definitely recommend this location ! It’s easy to find, the entire shop is kind and I don’t feel overwhelmed asking for what I want :) - I attached a before & after so you can see the major difference ! -

I am SO happy with my haircut! Megan was a great stylist, communicating with me throughout to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. I will definitely be back!

This might just be my favorite place in Charlotte. I searched for a long time for somewhere I could feel comfortable cutting all my hair off and starting a short hair journey and this place has been it 100%.

They're LGBTQ+ friendly, incredibly patient, highly educational and have an excellent vibe and waiting area.

When I go, I know I'm in good hands with every single stylist. However, I'd love to especially shout out Joey for his precision and clean lines and Summer for educating me on products and techniques to get to the style I was looking for.

I have been going to Kristi at Bishops Midtown for almost 4 years. Kristi listens to my crazy ideas and gives her honest opinion as to how they would work with my hair. She is a talented stylist who does not disappoint.

I’ve been coming to Bishops since 2021, and to say I love this salon would be an understatement. I now live over 90 minutes away and this has not deterred me from making the trek down to Bishops whenever my hair needs new life. Every stylist there is skilled and creative, and they’re all incredibly kind people.

Dani is amazing! Every time I go to her I feel confident that my hair will look great. Having curly hair I struggle to find someone who will maintain the integrity of the curls during the dye process, as well as cut and style it appropriately- but Dani has exceeded my expectations every time. She is personable and welcoming, as is the rest of the salon.

Love this Bishops! Appreciate that they are very open to myriad gender identities. I care way too much about my hair but I trust Dani and the folx at Bishops to do a wonderful job!

Callie is a magical goddess. She has been cutting my hair for a year and a half. I found her after a traumatizing experience at another salon in Charlotte. I was apprehensive about getting bangs again after leaving that said salon with borderline micro bangs. (Personally, just not my vibe, no shade to others who rock them.)

Callie listened to my experience and wasn’t pushy about cutting my bangs. I put my trust in her and she delivered! I returned again and kept leaving the salon exhilarated and confident. Addicted to her expertise, I’m now a loyal client.

The salon atmosphere is so fun and inclusive. The hair dressers have wonderful camaraderie between the team members. My favorite part is playing the game boys while I wait for Callie. Sometimes I show up a little early to get some gaming in.

Everyone has their own cup of tea, I’m a very simple client with hair color and cuts. But if you’re looking for something wild and against the grain, you’re in luck too. They really want to make sure you feel confident, no matter your style.

I was very nervous to get my haircut by someone new because I have been going to the same person for 8 years! Pixie cuts are not forgiving if mistakes are made. Kristi was so kind and had a feeling of confidence that removed all my worry. She cut my hair perfectly! I have been in chairs where the stylist has taken way too long to cut my pixie. Kristi is so good at what she does she was able to wash, cut, dry and style my hair in 35 min. That’s what 20+ years of experience gets you! I will definitely be booking with her for the foreseeable future.

Bishops is always great. No matter who cuts my hair I walk out pleased with my cut, the experience, and the cost. I also love their availability for appointments almost always same or next day. The staff at the Charlotte, NC location are great - Summer, TK, Dani, Megan - just to name a few, but you can’t go wrong!

Megan is magical! I go in looking like a gremlin that ate after midnight and come out a bombshell! The staff are all friendly and they work with you on scheduling / reminders making it easy to rebook appointments.

I'm pretty rough on my hair, but that didn't deter Megan from giving me beautiful locks that last. She also makes sure to educate on products that can help keep my hair vibrant until my next appointment. Very glad I found Megan and Bishops!

Booked a last minute appointment while out of town Christmas weekend and loved everything. Bishops is the most amazing salon! They are the friendliest and warmest people and I always leave feeling so happy. I have been seeing Megan for a year and a half now and always made me feel at home! I went to the Midtown location. Ashley did a great job with my haircut. The atmosphere was welcoming, they had Gameboy Colors to play while waiting, offered water, and chatted with me. My haircut is apparently difficult for some other hairdressers, but not here! Great fade and buzz, nice layering, etc. I was actually asked questions about my cut throughout the process, I was given the opportunity to look at the cut during the process and suggest changes, and they recommended styling products I had asked for.

I was very pleased with the service. I'll be back soon. Thanks for the welcoming and enjoyable experience while giving me safety as a member of the LGBTQ+ community.

My hair and beard was cut and trimmed just as I ask. When I first walked in they ask if I wanted something to drink very nice touch. My hair, and beard trim was so great. When you go in Ask for (Maleia).
