I looked over the reviews some of you made and I’m sorry to give you the bad news of Mark Turner. He died Wednesday morning.
you would have had great service because Mark took his job seriously and was willing to help anyone with their bike.

About a year ago I walked into Cycle Gallery on a whim. I was actually on my way to Wal-Mart to buy a bicycle and figured I would see what the big boys ride. Anyway, I was blown away by the knowledge and customer service. About two hours later Mark dropped off my new bicycles at my house (10 miles away). After a year, I drop in every few weeks to get an accessory or tube. Yes, they only carry very good quality bicycles, so if you want to get a 50 lb Wall-Mart brick on wheels, do not go there. If you want to get a well serviced used bike or a new bike to last a life time, go to Cycle Gallery and you will be happy.

I took my bike in last minute and the guys were so helpful and friendly. They made my visit virtually painless and fixed my bike good as new. I would recommend them to everyone.

. I couldn't get my pedals removed, so I took it to Cycle Gallary. He took them off... without charge! So I bought a new pair of socks and a water bottle. Support your small town businesses.

Not happy. I phoned in advance to ensure that the shop would be open and that they could repair my flat tire. The gentleman told me that he would be there during the time I planned on bringing my bike and that I could drop it off, but it would take about a week for the flat to be fixed. This is my backup bike so even though I wasn't thrilled about leaving it for an entire week, at least I didn't have to fix the flat myself. When I arrived at the shop, at the same time that I had promised him, the shop was dark and closed. No one was inside. The little sign on his door said he would return at 1pm. I waited until 1:10pm but decided to leave because I had several other errands to run. I will not return to this bike shop. It's 35 minutes from my home, but I'd rather drive all the way to Conte's in Virginia Beach in order to deal with professionals and true customer service. What a shame this is because this guy is sort of the only game in town, and he could be a cyclist's best friend in the area. Truly disappointed.

This place customer service is the worst I've every experienced in my life. I'm an African American Black Man. I went in side to purchases a Trek. They made me feel unwanted by asking me if I needed help as soon as I walked in the store. I told them I was just looking and the gentleman abruptly ask me again! I told him I was looking for a Trek, the gentleman told me they didn't sell treks and the store was no longer an authorized dealer! Then I ask "what are these" he said they was on consignment (but they was Treks.) I just walked out and left. The only reason I'm giving one star is because I can't post the ad without clicking one!

I brought a brand new bike I got for Christmas to them to get the wheels trued. They quoted $15-20. Without my permission, they did some unneeded work on my brand new bike and when they called to tell me it was ready, they said it was $52.50! They had no right to do anything but what I asked them to do. This is not good business practice and I will not be back.

Terribly rude and obviously lazy. Didn't feel like working on my bike the day I called and told me to go appx 50 miles to another shop, when all's I wanted was some break work. Shouldn't be advertising as a bike shop and posting your days and hours if you pick and choose when you want to work. I guess when you're the only show in town you can get away with acting rude and lazy.

Unfortunately I live 45 min from Cycle Gallery which added to my extreme frustration. Nevertheless, brought bike in for tune up with primary problem being front derailleur was not functioning properly and moving chain to all 3 gears. After being told bicycle repaired I traveled to store to discover they had closed early on a Friday due to interior temperature! 1 1/2 hr driving for nothing. Returned Saturday to pick up bike and once home, though bike cleaned well, discovered front derailleur still didnt work! Should have taken it for a test ride. That was my fault. Had to return for the third time for a repair of the repair!! Totally dissatisfied and annoyed!
