Food is great. Down home feel. Have things you expect a bigger restaurant will have. Cozy walk in pick up order and leave with good food and service. Best service call your order in if you already know what you like to order. Otherwise you may have to wait a little bit if you walk in and place your order. But it's worth the wait. Excellent dessert as well and sweet tea.

Very busy no tables. The food is excellent!!! Fried chicken is awesome!!!! The oysters we pretty good as well!!

The chicken was delicious as well as the potatoes and the mac and cheese! The cornbread was awesome too! 😋

Excellent southern cooking and catering for all types of events. Also has other locally sourced raw meats and cooked good with pastries.

Topside has some of the best food in town! I had the rock fish mac and cheese and potato salad and it was top of the charts. It reminded of real good home cooking. The fried chicken is amazing also. Not too greasy and with perfect amount of crunch! You must try Topside in Camden NC

Oh my goodness! Don’t tell my grandmother but their fried chicken is the best I’ve ever had! YUMMY!! They have also have great burgers and some amazing sides (try the Mac and Cheese!)

Their desserts are pretty and delicious!

If you stop by and see a long line - don’t hesitate to stop in. The wait won’t be long and you’ll fall in love with their food! You will not be disappointed!

Absolutely AMAZING! Today was our first time trying their food, and we will definitely be back! We had the shrimp 12 piece platter dinner and the chicken dinner, with a variety of sides and dessert. Oh my gosh, we haven’t had home food like this from a restaurant in a long time! I’d pick Topside over Ruby Tuesday or any of them any day of the week. And great customer service as well, and time efficient even when busy. We aren’t even from Camden, but we will always come to Camden just for Topside!!! Highly recommend!!!

Such a great little place! The food is amazing. True southern cooking at its best, full of soul! You are either Hunny or baby when you walk in! Great staff! Don't expect to get in and out quickly...but it's worth the wait!

This place is off the chain really good food and I mean smack yo momma good 😆 seriously they have been at it a long time first in Shiloh,NC now they moved where they are now in Camden beside dollar general everything is good desserts and other they sell steaks, pork chops, hamburger meat come on in enjoy you won't be disappointed.!!!

I have been eating food from Topside Restaurant and Catering for many years. I live in Shiloh where they were located before moving to Camden. Their food has always been delicious and affordable. Always better to order online for speedier service.

Excellent fried chicken and Carolina barbecue!

Everything they cook is cooked with care and Love, just like your Grandma's. Incredible fried chicken, excellent baked potato - potato salad, homemade pies and cakes, Lunch/Dinner specials. Also the folks who own it and work it are just lovely...but, by far my favorite ever, ever, ever thing, as of this very day, the Coconut Pecan Cookie. Decadence.

Always great food. Stays busy. Picked up a cinnamon roll yesterday for $ 2.99, it was fantastic. Girlfriend had purchased one last week from Powells roadside market on Hwy 168 at 34 in Currituck County NC. It was $ 4.99 and hard as a brick (you couldn't tell because it is sold in a hard plastic container). She returned it the next day and got one they said they received that day. It was just as hard as the previous one. Will never buy another one from Powells. Almost double the price and to hard to eat. Topside beats them and most others hands down.

Delicious Southern Home Cooking. Cornbread will melt in your mouth, chicken and BBQ taste great. The desserts are really good also. Highly recommend if local or just passing thru.

I ordered food from here for my son's graduation party last week!! The food was awesome! OMG! If you haven't tried it, it's a must!! You won't be disappointed!!!
