Jack Parker Beach Access Parking Lot #43

A great access point for the jetty area at the end of the island/Wright Wrightsville Beach. There isn't a ton of parking, so that might keep the crowds smaller unlike near the Oceanic. Walk through the dunes to the beach area. Pay to park just like everywhere else.

Gorgeous beach, the best sea shells ever! I can't wait to come back! *Only downer is parking is tight, and cross your fingers to get a close spot. ***After October parking is free*** Not sure what month you'll have to start paying..

Very expansive beach area at the very south end of Wrightsville Beach. There's a fairly large gazebo at the entrance to the beach too.

Beach wasn't too busy with crowds. Our family had a great time here.

Hardly ever crowded, weather is usually nice, water isn't too rough.

Unless you arrive super early finding parking is a real pain. Expect driving around for a little while hoping your timing is just right to catch someone leaving. Parking price is reasonable. $5/hr or $25 for the day. Past 7 it's not monitored. This spot is beautiful. Very chill with no waves other than the wake from the passing boats.

The spot where I trotteted barefoot down the wooden ramp to the sand, and put my feet in the Atlantic Ocean, after almost 3 months on the road from San Diego, CA to Wilmington, NC...to be with our grandchildren. A perfect spot to complete our trip from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean. Uncrowded, warm water and n nice and. I love NC.

This quiet side of Wrightsville Beach is one of my favorite places to go. The parking here is convenient and I don't generally worry about my car or belongings on the side of the beach. It's patrolled often by police who keep the area safe. The access has a wonderfully placed and clean gazebo right near the entrance. There is a trash can for dumping your garbage before going out to you and exiting the beach help keeping it one of the cleanest spots I've been to

Had a great time. Make sure to pay your parking fee right away though because they out there!! Parking enforcement guy was really nice though and asked what vehicles I was with as I was paying for my pass. Beach was clean and nice!! Beware, unfortunately there is no bathrooms so you have to drive up to the main spot 👎

I love this place its got the craziest wide open sunset in the world!!! we did my sisters gender reveal here couple years ago and now its my go to for peace n quite n to get peace of mind!! also anytime I want to walk the beach or catch the sunset or sunrise, this is my go to aswell. check it out you'll LIVE it!

This is one of the best places for sunset pictures on Wrightsville Beach. Take the little path near the traffic circle toward the back side of the point for the best photos. This is where the UNCW students go to unwind and watch the sunset while classes are in session. They can be a little loud but they're all there to enjoy the scenery and relaxation just like you.
The walk around the point is short and scenic. Don't miss out by seeing only half of what Beach Access 43 offers.

I greatly appreciate it the very generous handicapped parking. Even more, I appreciated the flat walkway down to the beach that my rollator (rolling walker with a seat) could go on. Thanks to it and two very nice beach goers, I got to go down to the ocean for the first time in about 7 years. Whoever designed and installed that flat walkway is huge blessing. This told me that Kure Beach wants everybody, even the disabled, to come and enjoy all they have to offer. Thank you so much. To be able to be in the ocean thanks to you is and incalculable blessing.

I absolutely love the south end!

Close to access, short walk to the shore. Showers available. Bathrooms were less than desirable and a lot of trash in the lot. People suck. I prefer access 4, bathrooms are usually very clean and they have 3 showers plus a hose.
