The Jetty at the South End of Wrightsville

Absolutely beautiful. Parking is TERRIBLE. I mean seriously, they need to expand the parking a little bit. The few spaces they have is extremely inadequate to meet the needs for parking.

But the spot was worth it. Honestly one of my favorite beach experiences, even though it rained a bit, the water was perfectly sea-green, clear, and the waves were just right for swimming. Many surfers were there and seemed to think so as well.

To top it all off, there are plenty of beautiful trails for walking, and the gazebo is a nice quiet place to stop and rest/dry off on the way to and from your car.

But good grief, THE PARKING.

Love the beach! Prickly Pear Cactus are beautiful with their red pears.

This is a great place to go and walk the beach. Right now the dredge is there and it's fun to watch. Bring the kids.

Talk about a beautiful experience! North Carolina is one of my very favorite states to go to the beach! The shell finds are amazing, the water is clearer and the people are friendly! I made some amazing summer memories here!

Beautiful beach allowing visitors to enjoy the ocean waves crashing along the shoreline. Seldom crowded with plenty of parking along the parking lots and metered street parking areas alongside the main road. It costs $2.50 an hour during the peak summer season which includes parts of spring and fall. Sometimes you may even be able to catch a surfing competition as well.

Beautiful place! LOTS of surfers and a few benches to sit and enjoy the sun. Went during the week so it was not busy and parking was free in the OFF SEASON.

I love Wrightsville Beach! They even have a mailbox with notebooks in it that visitors write in and there are some really touching stories in it. Really clean, some cool shells to find love bringing my boys there.

I am in love with this beach, so clean and peaceful. Was at this beach 3 days out of my 5 days here.

Dog-friendly until April. Perfect since rentals are wallet-friendly until then. South side rules off season. If your doggo is well-behaved, you can let them of leash. Shhh!

Beautiful beach at Wrightsville. The jetty can only be seen at low tide but it's a great place for shelling and wading nearby as the water is quite shallow to the north side of it.

Beautiful spot . Day fee for parking is 17 dollars- I believe. One of the nicest beach area we have visited. Too bad we only had one day to spend there. Gorgeous ❤

It was great, I loved the beach and it wasn't too hot when I went. There was not a bathroom nearby where I was located. Overall, my family enjoyed the beach.

Secluded beach area, good for fishing, lounging, etc. don't think there are facilities, so pack in pack out. Minimal parking, so you may need to circle for a while or plan to get there really early. Paid parking for during the main season (signs are there to let you know when you have to pay).

Great Public beach. great for a walk and nice views.
