It is a blessing to find an honest, quality, local mechanic. Robert has been that guy since we moved to Knightdale 2 years ago. He is thorough, honest, competitively priced, and is willing to explain any issues if you like to know that kind of stuff. My latest visit for a check engine light he scanned the code and realized that the fix should still be under warranty (which it was). So he recommended that I take it to the dealership to have it replaced. That's a standup move to be honest like that rather than fixing it without saying anything. Highly recommend Auto DRS.

Robert and team got our hunk of junk (mostly due to my really bad habit of not properly maintaining the car), back in to respectable shape, and quick! They replaced the heater core, serviced transfer case and did a bunch of other stuff that I’m sure needed doing.

The price was very competitive, and in fact, better than other quotes we received, but the quality of service and communication were both above and beyond.

Did I mention they were quick?! We wanted the heater fixed before a trip to the mountains, and as it turned out, immediately prior to a snow event, and they under promised and over delivered, having the vehicle back a full day than they’d originally told us.

All in all, I’m over exceedingly pleased to have a car with heat, and so very happy with the work Auto Doctors delivered!

My fiancée and I have taken our vehicles to Robert exclusively for the last couple of years for everything from brakes, oil changes, headlight restoration, engine flushing, electrical issues, and major axle/wheel repairs, and we have always gotten fair prices and amazing work from him and his team. Never had a single issue with any of the work he's performed for us.
This is a family business in every sense of the word and everyone there treats you like one of their own. Robert explains every step of the work you need done and explains the process and the pricing down to the minute detail. I appreciate how he seems to go out of his way to make sure YOU are comfortable with the process and he is always upfront and more than reasonably priced for the work done. I simply don't think I could trust a mechanic more.
The waiting room is clean and inviting, complete with restroom and a big screen tv on the wall while you wait. If you're looking for a reliable, honest, trustworthy mechanic who actually cares about you as a customer, Robert is your man.

Robert is wonderful! It is comforting to find a mechanic who will fix what needs to be fixed at that time, tell you what needs to be replaced in the future and doesn't hassle you for money. The service was exceptionally fast and the cost is the best you'll find anywhere! Being totally ignorant of anything that other than basic vehicle maintenance, Robert gave a detailed rundown on the necessary repairs that I needed. I was also able to see the damage and understood why it was necessary to be repaired. You will not be disappointed getting services from Auto DRS!

I was lost on the repairs I needed (if any) for my car. Mr. Hill was honest about the service he recommended. Very respectable and personable guy. This place won’t make you feel like they are doing a rush job on your car just to either get you out and off their hands or spend a ton of money. They also do inspections. I recommend. I have a 2007 Lexus ES350 and This has been the 3rd time I had the coil spark plugs misfire since I've had the car. Robert has worked on my car the last 2 times repairing it, Him & his staff do a phenomenal Job! He provided warranty on the parts. He keeps me updated throughout the whole service of having my car. He is a honest Business owner which is rare these days and that provide consistent work.

Gave an honest estimate and worked with me to fit my schedule. They really helped me understand the issue with my car. I really appreciate taking the time to educate me on my vehicle. I will definitely be coming back for any future car issues.

This was my first time going to this shop, and I will definitely be using them again. Extremely friendly and helpful service. I got a quote over the phone before taking my truck in for a specific repair, and when I went to pick it up it ended up costing LESS than the quote! Seriously, when does that ever happen?! The mechanic also gave me some helpful advice when I asked him about some other issues with my truck without trying to sell me any costly or unnecessary repairs. All in all it was a very good experience. 10/10, would recommend.

Honest, Kind, Friendly and more importantly treats you like family. He is Hard working and explains everything so you know what needs to be done. We didn't have an appointment and he was able to fit us in. We have found our new shop. Won't go anywhere else.

I have been taking my 2001 Jeep to Robert for about 5 years now. He handles all my regular maintenance and any issues as they arise. My Jeep now has over 160,000 miles on it and is still running strong. Robert is an excellent mechanic as well as one of the most fair and honest mechanics you will find. I cannot recommend Auto Dr.'s of Knightdale as highly as they even deserve. If you are looking for a great auto repair and maintenance team call Robert!!

The Manager is Robert Hill, he is Professional, friendly and Funny. He is a fair Manager, he don't try to charge a ridiculous price for Labor like some other larger name companies. I would recommend Auto Doctor to anyone to try.

Super welcoming and friendly staff that actually cares about who you are as a person! Very quick service and they’re definitely not trying to pull the wool over your eyes. Very nice and clean waiting area with comfy chairs. Best place in knightdale to get your car taken care of, hands down!

Can't recommend this place enough. Robert is one of those old-school mechanics that you visit for years because he treats you fairly and does good work.

Do not go anywhere else!!! I trust Robert at Auto Drs with all of my car care. I have been going there for years and don't trust anyone with my well loved (read: very used) vehicles even for something like an oil change anymore. I won't buy a used car without his stamp of approval. The man is trustworthy and fair.
