I failed to provide an acknowledgment of the awesome professional care I received in late January and early February of 2020. I just now needed professional guidance from Jeff Diamond who handled the services for my late husband David R. English who passed January 20, 2020. I was recalling the compassionate care provided me at a very difficult time. David and I had over thirty years shared together and his passing was sudden and totally unexpected. Fortunately, we had already made arrangements through Dignity Funeral dba Harry and Bryant Funeral Home. Mr. Diamond provided the very best of care to David and myself in carrying through with previous decisions made. I was so impressed with having the care provided that gave me the attention without ever any "rush" or pressure of any kind. What I received was so above and beyond any prior established expectation. I was so grateful to call just now and have the phone answered by Mr. Diamond. I provided a summary of details regarding my need and he demonstrated the same courtesy and care as I experienced before. I highly recommend McEwen Funeral Home, formerly Harry and Bryant, also a Dignity provider, and specifically Mr. Jeff Diamond, General Manager, should you need the care they provide. I wish I had not let this review be absent for over two years now. We've unfortunately had 2 deaths in our family in the last 7 months and both funerals were handled entirely professionally and with great sensitivity by the staff at Harry & Bryant. Once again our family was very pleased with the service and flowers. I worked with Jeff Diamond both times and couldn't have asked for a better director. I will definitely be using H&B again, but, hopefully in the distant future.

My sister died in Charlotte and our family was unable to be there to make arrangement for her. The staff at Harry & Bryant were very helpful in making arrangement for cremation and obtaining death certificates etc. through telephone, email and fax communications. We are very grateful to them.

The staff of Harry and Bryant Company assisted our family after the recent loss of our mother Alice Gendron Cobb. The care and compassion shown to us by everyone involved with the process was such a blessing during this difficult time.
We would like to especially thank Adam who was the funeral director for Mom. He really listened to our thoughts concerning Mom's service and the display and use of photographs celebrating Mom's life. Our ideas became reality through the efforts of Adam and his team. They produced a DVD, using photographs we submitted, which was played during the viewing. It could not have been more perfect!

Hands down the best in Charlotte. Easier to find from the interstate for those attending from out of town (3rd street becomes Providence). More affordable than many in town or in suburbs. Very supportive, understanding staff that handles everything with the utmost dignity. Over 100 years in the business, you become the mark by which others are measured. They manage, and provide you with tools to manage, every detail.

We are very impressed with Jeff. He has been very sopportive , every step of the way . Answering questions ( some before being asked ) Great mannerisms . Our Aunt trusted him . As do we . Not always easily impressed . would give more then 5 stars , if I could .
