Sisters Thai

Very lovely decor and atmosphere. Tried the duck, beef and pink soup dishes and they were very delicious. The ruby lychee drink was yummy and was not too sweet. The mango sticky rice was very good. We sat in the back area where it was less loud and less crowded compared to the front area. We definitely preferred sitting in the back of the restaurant. It almost felt like we were in a library. The restroom has a wall covered with flowers, perfect for a photo. :) the menu looks like a newspaper.

Parking wasn’t so bad when we arrived but we were lucky to find a spot right away.

The staff told us that the wait would be 20 minutes, took down my phone number, and said they’d call me when a table was ready. We went across the parking lot to CVS to buy some necessities and a table was ready in 10 minutes. It was very quick.

The servers were very kind and attentive. They answered questions about the menu with patience and a smile and even provided recommendations that were very good.

I am a huge fan of the chain and so happy they've been expanding. New Tysons location coming soon! My friend and I stopped in recently on a busy week night. I made reservations in advance. We ordered the green curry, fried fish, chicken pad see ew, and the mango coconut milk with sticky rice for dessert. Everything was delicious. The fish is a must order as there were no bones, had great Thai basil flavor and it was fried perfectly. The service and food here is as consistent as the other locations.

The staff was really attentive and our food came out quickly. The decorations are similar to the other locations. The noise level here can be a bit loud and I found myself talking over other people. Seating area is a bit tight so if you have a party over 6 there maybe some wait time. Definitely save some time for dessert as their signature Magnolia desserts are delicious. Prices are reasonable for Potomac and its a great place to dine for some authentic Thai food.

I am not well-versed in Thai cuisine. So I had no expectations as to what lunch was about to be on the Thursday I trekked over to Sisters in Cabin John Shopping Center.

Let the record state: the food- all fresh and phenomenal. I had a vegetable stir fry that was more than plentiful and simply superb.

Drinks executed to absolute perfection. The decor and the ambiance- I felt like I was exactly where I was supposed to be (if that makes sense- there was a comfort to it). I highly recommend you venture out to Sisters.

Whether you live for Thai or are a “first Thaimer” like myself, there is something to be enjoyed and appreciated by all!

It was my sisters birthday and she wanted Thai food. It was a cute place it was clean too. She really enjoyed herself and her food. I’d definitely go again. It was my first time here, I have no complaints it was really pretty the food was hot and good. The price was reasonable exactly what I expected I have nothing bad to say.

Lovely place. The food and drinks were good. The bathrooms were very clean and well decorated!

Love the cozy seating area. Food and service both amazing. This was my second visit and felt just as the first. Looking forward to a solo dinner here soon.

Having dinner with my friend to celebrate my birthday here. I love Thai food and I wanted something light for dinner. This place has perfect portion for all the dishes. The portion is small so we could try several dishes and still have some leftover to take home. The price is very reasonable considering it’s in nice Potomac area. The pottery shrimp is highly recommended. I definitely will go back here to try other Thai street food.

The food was extremely flavorful and cooked well. Desserts were not to sweet and the fruits are fresh.

The indoor seating is pretty small, so if you have a big party (more than 6 people), they will probably seat you outside. Lots of car parking around the place.

Sisters is super cute and cozy inside! They also have outdoor seating. The bathroom is even adorable and all the decor is just really fun!

They have an excellent coffee/drink menu. The menus are printed like little newspapers which adds to the whole cozy home experience.

Nice atmosphere but you will probably want to make reservations if going for dinner, as space is limited. Our server was very pleasant and happily answered any questions we had about the menu. The food was delicious! I would recommend (if your taste buds are a bit wimpy) that you order “mild,” as opposed to “medium.” Medium was a bit too spicy for some in our group. 😉😂 I highly recommend this restaurant.

Really delicious. This was my first time trying this place out. They should be getting their liquor license this week. Seems like a perfect place to get a drink after work. Cute inside bar to meet for drinks. The only thing I didn’t care for was the appetizer. Seemed very bland not much to it (garden rolls). Would definitely come back it was a good experience.

All the food are awesome, with great portion. Also, the atmosphere is great, they put thoughts in decoration. A really awesome dining experience 😊

Wonderful place. Feels like sitting in someone’s living room. Having been to Thailand, the dishes, all taste like they did there. The time Yum soup, the spring rolls, the garden rolls, see you we’re all great. Plan to come back often.

I love the bookstore/cafe themed interior design. The level of detail really shows the amount of effort and thought the owners put in to open a Thai restaurant here. Food was delicious. Service was good, wait staff are friendly knowledge and attentive. Delivery was a bit slow, but it's a soft opening; I'd come back again in the near future!

Great modern take on Thai food while staying authentic to standards like papaya salad, crispy pork with basil and seafood curry. Desserts will delight as well with a mini loaf of toast covered with Nutella or strawberry Pocky. Great service and nice outdoor seating space.

I’ve been to Sisters Thai in Fairfax multiple times and this was my first visit to the one in Potomac. I’m happy to report the quality is just as great as the other locations. I had the passionfruit sparkling drink, which was very refreshing and the right balance of sweet and tart. I also had the fried chive dumplings and the drunken noodles with chicken, which is always a classic order for me. The food was hot temperature wise which I always appreciate and the flavors were spot on. Definitely recommend this place.

This is by far the most interestingly decorated restaurant I have ever been to. It's a cozy and cute cafe with a lot of nice cultural decor and a homey feel. Just everything about the look of this place is comforting.

My mother always says to judge a restaurant by how clean the bathroom is - well I do not remember if it was clean because I was distracted by the large TV screen in the men's restroom playing Spiderman - GENIUS! However, I was disappointed to find that the women's bathroom did not have a TV as we do both #1 and 2 sitting down facing the TV wall so it would make more sense for us... Right?

Anyways, the food was delicious. We came hungry, and got the fried tofu and Donald roll appetizers; both were great. I'd go with the tofu (and share it) if I were less hungry and the Donald roll if I were more hungry. I had the Panang curry and tried a taste of the green curry - both were great. I also had a Thai tea which was very refreshing, not too sweet, but I thought it was overly filled with ice and I would have liked more of the drink (the glass is already kind of narrow). Finally, we got the mango sticky rice for dessert which was really nice! I hadn't had it before but the sticky rice is warm and topped with cool mango, crispy rice, and coconut milk, which taste really good and refreshing when combined.

Overall, I loved the experience here, and the service was great. The restaurant gets pretty packed and space is tight so it's a good idea to make a reservation. I will definitely come back and try more things.

Rainy day for delicious Thai food. We ordered three dishes and they were very large portions. I love the crispy eggplants. They have another location in Mosaic district in Falls Church Virginia.

I absolutely love the original Sisters Thai, Magnolia's and Chai-yo! Their newest Cabin John local is just as good! Service is super and dishes were on point!

We ordered the Num Tok(salad dish with beef and fish sauce), Crispy Duck Curry (Delicious!), Boat Noodle (which I like muuuch more than Viet Pho), and crying tiger!

Didn't get to try any of the desserts here bc we just ordered way too much food for 2 people, lol. BUT if it's anything like the other dishes, I'm sure it'll be on par with Magnolia's and Chai-yo!

Just a heads up, Their liquor license is still pending at the moment, but don't let that deter you from stopping in!

Food was delicious and the service was good. I found the seating to be a little to close to other parties, and I found myself hearing more of the conversation from the party next to us than our own. I would definitely return.
