Easy to get to and find parking! What a quaint little park. I liked the placards describing the different sculptures, too!

One of the great Parks along side the Little Sugar Creek Greenway. The park features a small splash pad and bench swings. Parking is available on the other side of the park as well.

Elizabeth Park is a nice park for a run or walk. I go with a group called MadMiles that promotes a healthy atmosphere of people trying to be healthy and active. Great running group and great area

Excellent!!! I recommend 100 % it.
Elizabeth began to develop rapidly after 1902, when a trolley line was completed, and was annexed in 1907. Home of Independence Park, the first public park in the city, Elizabeth became one of the most fashionable residential areas in Charlotte in its early days. In 2006 Elizabeth had a population of 3,908.

It was so much more than I thought. Great for everyone. Dog walkers, bike riding, romantic walks, But the walkway underground should not be explored alone. However, I felt very safe here. I saw no police or security presence.

Super pretty park with cool, shady seating. The fountain was fun to watch. Also, we were pleasantly surprised that the drinking fountain was on and working!

A pretty little park right in Uptown perfect for walking and biking. I appreciate that the paths are wide enough for bikes to pass. I would have appreciated a few dog stations with bags and garbage cans.

Such a beautiful park, and right on the greenway in uptown. Perfect little swings to take a break and enjoy the moment.

Nice escape in the middle of uptown Charlotte... also considered the backyard of Central Piedmont Community College. You gotta love it ❤! If you need an nature walk or a trail to retail therapy after class... follow your girl's foot steps 🚶‍♀ ✨

I love how almost every greenway in Charlotte is connected. This connects to Freedom Park and walks through the Metropolitan Shopping Center.
At lunch time, you can take a walk and grab something to eat then stop at Target on your way back. It is so clean and well maintained plus people are very conscious of others using the greenway.
There are amazing little pockets here and there, plenty of parking. It is a favorite spot for photo shoots, professional or not.
Bike, run, have a picnic, use the playground at the Freedom Park, bring your kids, come alone. It’s perfect either way.
Very safe!

Love this place.... And so will your dog! It's a nice escape from the concrete jungle... Lulu loves sniffing all the flowers.... They give her flower power... At least that's what she says when she's dreaming... She doesn't really know that she talks in her sleep but that's what I have deciphered so far. Elizabeth Park is fine it's got a lot of electrical towers it's still a very social inner urban place but she loves it because she gets to see people and animals and flowers.... So there.... Do yourself a favor and take your dog for a walk in Elizabeth Park!

I really like this park! There's a splash park here and I have been taking my daughter since she was a baby. We love it because it's not crazy busy like other splah parks in the area. They also have these porch swings there that are very enjoyable for us to swing on.

A nice relaxed park with a scenic walking trail. Enjoy time with family and friends near the city and even closer to nature.
