Central Drug Store

Central Drug is an independent compounding pharmacy. They're always pleasant to deal with. Theyvhave taken good care of me for over 20 years. I can count on them for careful service.

I typically don’t post things like this but as a public service announcement I feel it’s required to call out corporate greed.

About two months ago I transferred from Walgreens to a local pharmacy, Central Drug here in Stillwater. I take 3 maintenance medication and an inhaler. Well it was time to refill my 90 day medications. The cost differences shocked me. Walgreens cost is $137-Central Drug cost is $54 for the exact same medications. A difference of $84 bucks and to me that’s substantial difference.
The customer Service between the two also reflect the differential.

Point is keep your dollars away from corporate entities as much as you can, because they do not care about you only your dollars!

Well done Central Drug not only is your price superior, but your customer service is exceptional. Very well done!

The best staff. They answer allllll my many questions. Friendly and beyond professional. For those that don't know, they are also a compounding pharmacy.

Chad has been a true blessing to our family and there aren't enough thank you's in this world to let him & his family know how much we appreciate them! God broke the mold when He made this man!!! His staff at Central Drug are so sweet and understanding! My family and myself have never felt stereotyped ever! I've walked out of many pharmacies crying over what some of the staff or pharmacist have said to me that was none of their business or was just flat out uncalled for! But that just led my family to Central Drug, where we always walk out with a smile on our faces! Thank you so much Chad to you, your family and your staff!!! You're not just a wonderful Pharmacist but a real great friend too!!!

The attendant at the window is always very nice always cheerful and happy to help. She acts like she literally enjoys her work.

Very welcoming and professional!

After becoming fed up with poor service and wait times at CVS and Walgreens, I decided to go back to the "old school" pharmacy and I'm so glad I did. Everybody there really does know me by name when I walk in, rx is always filled quickly, and someone is always available to answer questions. They are so pleasant. Sure they may not have a fancy app or website to request refills, but the trade off is that you don't wait in line for an hour only to find out your rx isn't ready yet, or they "had to order it". I'm so glad I made the switch to an old "mom and pop" style pharmacy.

Can't say enough good things about Chad and all of the staff at Central ! After disappointing service at the National chain type pharmacies, my husband and I moved all of our medication info and refills to Central and will never leave them !
It's a business, yes. However they actually care about their customers and are invested into our community.

Chad, Melissa and the rest of the staff do everything they can to make things go smoothly for you. Their prices are way less than any other pharmacy I’ve found as well.

Always the best customer service

My 2 year old was diagnosed with strep. We got our prescription just a few minutes before they closed the pharmacy. We called Central Drug and they insisted on staying open late so we could get the medicine we needed. It is evident that Dr. Bayer and his team care about my family. I won't go anywhere else!

The most polite drug store in town, not to sell a few other local ones short. Chad is the man. He gets to know and take care of his customers.

They all have taken great care of me an always go above an beyond to make sure I have my meds. COPD an it's crucial. Wouldn't go an y where else.
