Mr. Johnson has recently helped us navigate through a very complicated drawn-out legal situation. His ability to respond to the many challenges of this case was impressive and we felt as though we were part of a team, not simply waiting to hear occasional updates. He has always been extremely professional and responsive to our many questions. His knowledge of the legal system and ability to work with all parties for the best outcome for his client helped move this along for which we were grateful. There may be higher priced lawyers out there but certainly no better than Mr. Johnson.

I was in Mt. Pleasant on vacation in May, and accidently scraped the car next to me when pulling into the hotel parking lot after dinner one night. I didn't know it at the time. A policeman knocked on my door at 12:30am telling me I was going to jail for failing to file an incident report. He woke me out of a dead sleep, repeating those words several times. Scared me to death! I'm a female in my 60s and I've never been to jail! Anyway, he wrote me a ticket. Initially I was going to pay it but was advised against it because of the insurance ramifications. My NC attorney referred me to David Johnson and he took care of the whole thing for me. Case and ticket dismissed. I would have spent more than the fee he charged me to drive the 4+ hours down there and try to fight it myself. Plus I may have lost. Good attorneys are worth their weight in gold because they know what they are doing and they have established relationships with the judges, prosecutors, police, etc. that you and I don't have. David is one of those attorneys. I highly recommend him.

Mr. Johnson is a great attorney. He is knowledgeable about a lot of different areas of law and recently helped me reach a not guilty verdict through his powerful presence and experience in the courtroom.

Working with Attorney Johnson was a positive experience for me. Divorce proceedings are never easy. But working with David make it that much more doable. He was responsive and followed up as needed. I would recommend him to anyone.

Shame on me for retaining and paying for his services. David defines why attorneys get a bad rap. I reiterate what Chris Horne has to say about him. SMH. How did this guy pass the bar? Used him for almost ten years. He started off soliciting my business for collections. Used him on 6+ issues. Score 0-4. Then there were two mediations which 1 came up in 2018 (from 2009). David never had the original settlement signed and then charged me $500 to fix his mistake. I fixed it myself and he won’t return monies paid. Yes, I’m angry.

I’ve never met a man so closed off to his clients needs. I thought he was a man of integrity and faith and ethics. I was wrong. And after many years of doing web work for him free of charge, I needed his services myself for my divorce. That is when I seen what others had told me but I never believed. He is unbelievably inpatient, corrupt and unprofessional. I have the text he sent me to prove it. I was advised to report him to the state bar and I’m thinking abut it after my life gets back in order. BEWARE!! Anyone wishing to see the vile and foul things he texted to my cellphones late into the night, just reach out to me. Don't believe this wolf in sheep clothing.

PS - These 5 star ratings appear out of nowhere every time one of his so called “real clients” reviews him. The true clients are obvious.

UPDATE: I gave him a chance to do the right thing and pay me for the years of web service. He ignored me as expected. This suggestion was made by a Chasn County judge who suggested I offer him a chance to redeem himself. David simply does not care how he treats people, period. He has no integrity.

Agreeing with Chris Horne with the way he speaks to clients is unprofessional. I lived with her when she was using him as her attorney and at times would call yelling and give unprofessional advice/misinformation about the case.
