Northwoods Veterinary Clinic

We have a 120lb. Chocolate Labrador named Benson. Today was his 1st visit at Northwoods Vet and it was a great experience. The girls in the front entrance check in were friendly and on point. The male tech and the lady veterinarian were fantastic with Benson. We scheduled our next appointment in a few weeks to follow up and get nail trim done. I highly recommend this place if you have furbabies!

We’ve been bringing our pets to Northwoods Vet Clinic for almost 5 years now & have always had great experiences! The staff is wonderful - so welcoming, respectful & accommodating. I highly recommend this vet practice to anyone looking for a new vet!

I love the staff here!! They always take time to answer my questions and offer suggestions. They called the next morning after my baby's surgery to check on him. They really seem to care.

Everyone was so nice. The place is convenient for me, hardly any waiting, took my dog back for her shot and even the cost was good. It's my place to take her from now on!

We have been bringing our furbabies to NVC for over a decade now, and they have been consistently wonderful. They know their patients, their bedside manner is incredible, and their veterinary knowledge is fantastic. Unfortunately when we moved to West Ashley, we moved to another vet for a short time, and felt their knowledge and treatment was just not up to NVC standards, so we have returned, and we are so glad we did. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Great place. Caring staff. I always recommend this clinic to friends and neighbors. My cat had lifesaving surgery and ongoing care by the wonderful docs at Northwoods and their sister clinic at West Ashley just a few months shy of his 3rd birthday. He is 15 and continues to enjoy a little nap in the sunshine. A miracle made possible by this group of accomplished veterinarians.

We are so thankful to the Northwoods team of veterinarians and staff who assisted us in the loss of our sweet ol great dane during the fight with cancer. We feel so grateful for the support and thoughtfulness during that time. Their care of our 3 other furbabies is always kind, professional and knowledgeable. They work hard to accommodate and remain compassionate and love our pets.

Love the staff here. My dog and cat have been going here for years and I have never ran into an issue. They care for your animals and make sure to check up on them if they needed another appointment besides the annual visits. My dog doesn’t like his feet being touched, but they were willing work with him to cut his nails. (Medication, muzzle, ect.) Highly recommend.

My cats have been coming here for about 5-6 years now. They’re always so friendly, prompt with appointments and availability, and have been able to make a same/next day appointment when I have a sick cat. They saved my little kitty Marley when she lost half her body weight and was sick for months. We’re moving to a new state soon and will be really bummed to have to leave this wonderful vet clinic. Thank you guys for all you do!

I love the staff here. They are super sweet and very caring with my doggie. They remember his name and they call to check on him after his visits. I trust them fully with him!

Dr. L has taken care of my Rescue Baby for 7 GREAT years & he loves her!!! Today he met Josh and Now has another HERO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We've been going here since the 80's. Always caring and friendly .there are 2 vets here Dr.J specialty is cats i was told but shes always taken excellent care of my fur babies cats and dogs .the other fellows specialty is with dogs but he also takes care of both.
There very good with your babies handles them with care . mine like her and arnt afraid .if you need help the girls there will bring them in from car and take them back.prices arnt too bad .i believe they have options for the more expensive procedures.they also take insurance.
There care couldn't be better .including emergency surgery and procedures which both of mine had to have .
We've been with them over 20 years and intend to continue.

If you want genuine, quality care for your pets , this is the place to go. Started taking our 13 yr old dog here who was having multiple issues and our current vet just wasn’t making me feel comfortable with the care she was getting, the doctors at Northwoods took the time to talk to me and help her the best they could, unfortunately our girl had to be put down and the doctors and staff were the most compassionate and caring during this difficult time, we will always be grateful to them !!

Dr.Wallace is the most amazing get ever. She made me and my little old guy comfortable and made sure I understood everything so very compassionate!

The staff is so friendly and professional! They are easy to work with, even with COVID restrictions, and treat you and your pet very well. I would highly recommend this clinic to everyone.

The staff and Dr. J were very compassionate when we had to put our dog down. My mother had been taking our dog there for a couple of years, and when he fell ill, she took him there again. Little did we know it would be the last time we went to see him. The office staff showed great compassion and allowed us as much time as we need it to say or goodbyes. They also did not charge us for that day’s office visit, Today, we received a condolence card about our dear Mickey that meant everything to us as we lost our best friend if in the future, I decide to get another dog. I will definitely be bringing them back to Northwoods veterinarian. Thank you for everything during our time of need.

Very amiable and helpful staff. The veterinarians are experienced and handle my animals with respect and care. The rooms are very clean, decorated, and quiet. They keep prices low and have a loyalty program.

The staff are not only animal lovers, but they appear to like people too 😉

I still love this place. Better yet, Bella adores the people, even more than the cheese used to distract her. 😉

I'm not the most informed on vet prices but I find them to be very affordable. The staff is best all around and I am very appreciative of how kind they are. I've never been a fan of going to the vet but with Northwoods Veterinary Clinic, I actually enjoy going. Would 11/10 recommend!
