Garcia's Mexican Restaurant

Always a fun place to eat especially if you are celebrating a loved ones birthday. I highly recommend eating here if you are in Layton. When you get to your table you receive free chips, salsa, and bean dip for free. We usually get the fully loaded nachos but all the food is really good. This is a place the locals eat. Not a big chain. Great atmosphere. I love the decorations inside. They have a room just for large gatherings so it works well for weddings, corporate events etc. Yes they offer a kids menu. Prices are higher than say Costa Vida, but the service, food, and atmosphere is better. Come here on your birthday and they sing to you and put on a special hat. Located just south of the mall.

We were seated immediately, and we received our drinks very fast. I ordered the house margarita and it did not disappoint. We were very surprised how fast our food came out. I ordered the street tacos and it was good, had lots of flavor. I loved the sauce it came with but it was a little spicy for my non chili eating self

I really like Garcias. They serve you unlimited chips, salsa and bean dip as soon as you sit down. Both the salsa and bean dip are amazing. The items on the menu are great. I generally go with cheese enchiladas and some sort of skirt steak.

I got to say, the service was amazing here! The young man that helped us was very kind and very attentive. The food is great and we love coming here.

They give you chips, salsa, and bean dip for the table! Salsa was perfect- not too spicy and chips were thin, crispy, and super fresh. The frozen pina colada was the best I've had in awhile. My taco was delicious, as well. There is plenty of seating for larger groups, too. I'll be back, for sure!

I got the shredded beef enchiladas with sour cream and Pablano sauce, and they were absolutely delicious. The server was knowledgeable about gluten free problems and was great with his suggestions.

AMAZING. You like Mexican this is the place! It is great for family dinners or just a quick lunch! They have a large variety of Mexican food and a kids menu! I love coming here when I visit Utah it is my families absolute favorite! I'd suggest this place to anyone! Make a stop and have a great meal!!

This Garcia's is Amazing as always! The management is amazing, as is the staff! Their food is consistently great, and my family and I make a three hour commute to come here- and they never disappoint! Emily is an amazing Manager, Jude and Gwami are by far the best severs! I would recommend this place to anyone!

Kids chicken tenders, chicken taco salad, 3 chicken tacos, ground beef chimichanga, and avocado soup! Also the bean and salsa dip with the chips, are to die for!!!

Ordered them curbside. We were a little nervous how good it would be and if it would stay warm. Drove all the way from layton to bountiful and it was still super hot when we got to our table! Service was fast and super kind. Glad we stopped in and will again for sure.

If you love to sit down and eat Mexican food. This is one establishment I recommend trying. Salsa, chips and the bean dip is yummy. I had the steak and chicken fajitas and it was delicious. Establishment is clean and staff is helpful and friendly.

Great food for a great price. I love eating here with the family. Usually get the choose 3 combo and share with someone.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant! I am a regular. There are several good servers, but to get the true Garcia’s experience, be sure to ask for Guami! She puts the extra touch on your experience. I’ve had several birthday celebrations here and reserve her as part of my party reservation! (You get amazing, free fried ice cream on your birthday! I posted the picture, but had already eaten the cherry!)

I am always hunting for the best cheese enchiladas. This is by far my favorite place for them. (The photo doesn’t show rice because I ask for double beans.) Be sure to request the other types of salsa. My favorites are the tomatillo (green) and charred salsas, which are only brought out upon request.

Garcia’s isn’t outrageously priced, but a little pricier as far as Mexican food goes. You get a noticeable quality difference though. Also, they are good about taking expired coupons from the monthly Hometown Values circular. I keep these stocked in my purse and husband’s wallet! They give you $5 off of $20.

Always hot, fresh, and delicious. The service has never been anything but wonderful.

Garcia’s has the best refried bean. Every time we go there, we ask for more refried bean and just eat and eat it with chips. We also really like the enchiladas and all the other food we have eaten there. The place feels authentic and they even have Mexican music that makes one feels home. The food is tasty and good for the price. The service is good and employees are kind. The place has easy access and it has enough parking. They are also quick to get you a table. The most we have waited for a table was like 10 minutes and that is when they are very busy. I would totally recommend it and try the refried beans.

We used to come here quite often but it fell off our radar. Coming back was a great reminder this is a fun family-oriented relaxing place. Food is great, basic American Mexican Cuisine. Chips and salsa are always great. We used to get the fried ice cream and I loved it. But we are watching our diets now. Highly recommended.

Garcia's is our go to Mexican restaurant in Davis County. They seat you quickly and get you chips/salsa fast.
I haven't been disappointed with anything I've ordered. My favorite is the shrimp Tacos or cheese enchiladas. The guys always order the Grande Chicken Burrito. Every. Time.
The servers are great and we feel like regulars.

Every experience at this restaurant has been good. We enjoy the staff & food. It's my favorite Mexican in the Layton area.
