Short Brian C DDS

Doesn't seem to care for the patients as much as he cares about keeping the schedule moving.

My daughter came in for a check-up with Dr. George Short who referred us to his son, Dr. Brian Short, after seeing many cavities needing crowns.
After a minute he decided she needed to go in for surgery for 8 crowns!
He seemed like a nice guy, but it definitely felt like there wasn't room for my questions or concerns, and they were quickly brushed off.
After going through major surgery, 8 crowns later, our 18 month old daughter came out with crooked crowns on her front two teeth and all four front crowns were different colors!
We confronted Dr. Short about it, and he said the equivalent of "don't worry about it, it's no big deal"
After two months, a front crown came loose due to a fall, and instead of scheduling for us to come in right away, to see if her front tooth could be saved, he said "it's probably broken, so take antibiotics and call in a week if you want to schedule surgery to have it pulled" (she's still under 2 btw).

We've gone to get a second opinion, and the dentist did an x-ray, saw that the cap looks loose, but said it might be too late to save the tooth, since we waited a week like we were told, but he will still try and, then if need be, he will pull the tooth.

I will never recommend anyone see Dr. Brain Short until he changes the way he treats patients and their guardians--as more than just a mouth to be scheduled in for surgery, (and an annoying mouth in need of shutting up).
